Reloading Nerf, and Spawncamping.

    MC-War's system of reloading a secondary weapon while holding a another gun seems unrealistic and unfair. The first point is self explanatory, however why it is unfair is up to debate. Sure, every player has this mechanic however it makes for unfair feeling game play such as people holding a choke point for a near indefinite amount of time by spraying with their primary then switching to their secondary while their primary weapon is reloading resulting in a continuous stream of fire. Other players join in also so when one players dies there are many more to replace him effectively making a resupply system. I feel like players should be rewarded for aim, teamwork and strategy, not merely controlling a choke point and mindlessly spamming bullets. Controlling a choke point such as a narrow hallway does take skill and the team can also wait it out, but with the objective system a team can't wait it out it because every second wasted brings closer defeat. I feel that controlling a choke point should not be the main determining factor of who wins the game. Another major problem is also attributed to this is spawn camping. Once multiple choke points have been controlled or major choke point with a line of sight towards the enemy spawn then spawn camping occurs. Ice Bear's solutions to these problems are making it so you can't reload one gun while using the other and also adding a thorns system so any spawn protected players when hit while inflict damage to the enemy instead.

    Reloading only one gun, while holding it, encourages camping and limits movement. -1

    Thorn system wouldn't help because the spawnprotection goes away once the enemy shoots. It would be an annoyance and confusing. -1

    Spawncamping is just an issue that can't be fixed without going for unrealistic and gamebreaking solutions.

    How does it encourage camping if anything it it makes it harder to camp by giving others an opportunity to rush a player while they are reloading. It does limit movement, but that isn't that bad all a player has to do is pull out their secondary till they have the opportunity to reload their primary weapon. Spawncamping could be fixed maybe not in this way but maybe another.

    Regarding the reloading nerf: this was already implemented during War 2.0 testing and it was planned to be kept in for the full release. I begged Roke to remove it because that alone ruined the gamemode for me, and I felt as if it had the potential to kill off the gamemode.

    Not allowing off-hand reloading slowed down gameplay a lot - it made the game more strategic, sure, but it also meant you had to temporarily "step out" of the action waiting for your guns to reload, which is no fun really. Not to mention, dying when there's absolutely nothing you can do is one of the most frustrating things for people in any video game. Dying when I was waiting for a gun to reload just felt cheap and unfair.

    Since this is Mc-war/cod it's not suppose to be realistic most games you can reload your gun and use secondary one to shoot, Or people can just "Quick reload" some games have that But I forget.

    Spawn prot doesn’t end when u shoot btw. Tested this on server 2

    Then why when I don’t shoot I get killed in spawn.

    What I meant was that shooting isn’t the only way to lose spawn prot
