Feedback on Wild West Map 2.0

    REBEL BASES

    I feel like the drugs/towns have lost the identity they had at least in the actual map, you just can tell by looking at Harshaw Base and Shrooms Base, Harshaw base is just smaller and with big walls but they keep the same style even if they're associated with different drugs and towns.
    Harshaw, Poppy, Wild Grass keep the same problem as the actual map does, their style is too similar without identity, although Harshaw is different inside it has the problem I stated above. And lets not talk about Shrooms base, it just look hell different and I think it's a copy of the Poppy Cartel in the actual map. I also don't find anything related to Tobacco/Amarillo.

    DRUG FIELDS
    Not too much to talk about fields, I feel Coco Field a bit smaller, not a big problem though, I also feel the same with poppy field, they look kind of random, you could add better structures/wall or something like that. I like Shrooms field. Wild Grass field is nice I guess, I just have a problem with the water, it's odd, really.

    MINES
    Mines... WTF happened with Cordero Mine, the only structures it has are 3 big wood blocks lacking of detail, it just has no effort on it. Rosebud is nice, still a copy though, you could rework the water tower. The unnamed mine-ellsworth looks nice, you could add more structures though, it's also the same warp as shrooms mine, repeated warp? Frisco Mine is nice in the outside but in the inside it's kind of a labyrinth, maybe make it more regular.

    TOWNS

    Lets talk about towns... I can't really give a proper opinion, I believe each town/drug should have a style/personality and I think towns' personality falls in how much expensive the drug associated with it is, and the biome, so for example if Shrooms is the most expensive drug, then Ellsworth should be the best town, very regular and great building, I hope you get the point. As I don't know if you will keep the original prices system, (Wg best, bacco worst) I can't judge very well the towns. I like to say that I'd love if each town has a church, I think it'd be a nice detail. I also don't find too many houses in the new towns, that might be a problem if you are not thinking in adding more.

    OTHER STUFF

    I just see two cartels, north and south, there will be just 2? Also thanks adding the south cartel the team built although it was not meant to be a cartel. :stuck_out_tongue:
    No work on Sheriff Stations? It's weird to have a warp to them then.
    There are 2 indian camps that are copies... also WTF with the sebeanloc1 warp... :V
    Also what happened to amarillo?

    What I think you should have done...
    You just had to replace the old bases with new and different ones, you could have used the ones in 356057 ID, they're great imo, and maybe reworking some buildings around the map, I just find it weird to change the whole map like the way you're doing it.

    What I think you should do now...

    -You can add builds for drug dealers, you can find 4 buildings for them (Shroms, Bacco, Coco and WG, Poppy has one already in the original map) in 356057, they'd be a good addition.
    -Rework in every rebel base except for Wild Grass (I like it the way it is now) you can find 3 rebel bases en 356057 for Shrooms, Poppy and Tobacco.
    -Stablish a proper personalily/style for each town which should be related to the personality/style of the drug near it. This means, a different style of woods, walls, and structures in each town.
    -Add more houses.
    -Keep the cartels as they were originally, maybe you could rework on them a little.
    -Maybe a bit of rework for each Sheriff Station so they don't look all the same.
    -Improve the fields as I said in the Fields section.
    -Improve the mines as I said in the Mines section.
    -Where is Amarillo? D:
    -Less random Indian Camps.
    -Add more structures like Forts and Cities around the map, that are not in the navigator.
    -The locations of everything should have more sense.
    -Add me so I can grief the whole map :wink: jk.
    -Add churches.


    The whole thread is so unorganized xd I'm not good at this. That's all IMO. I just hope you read my feedback.

    There has been a lot of discussion about a entire wipe yes, but no one knows exactly when it will come. My guess is later in this years summer.

    I built the N.Mann Mine (yes I called it like that), also known as the unnamed Elsworth mine. I could add a few more builds, maybe a statue of a miner or some cranes.
    Glad you like it. We will do what we can to improve.
