What is wrong with Raid

Don't really see how raid is in a bit of a pickle, got fairly high player counts compared to some gamemodes. Ok, agreed, server lag is horrible and should be fixed. Other than that, raid is fun, exciting and hardcore. You how you gather resources than just lose them all? That shouldn't be happening unless you are being careless and stupid. If you still feel that way maybe raids too hardcore for you? Lag where you died is probably just your internet. Get better internet or something, raid lags but not bad enough for you to die in p4 because of it. Dying to soup lag in p4? Get used to it, you basically take no damage in p4 do you shouldn't have trouble with a slight delay in souping, this only becomes an issue in iron 1v1s but who cares about losing a bit of iron armour?

Pretty stupid thread imo, looks like this was made in salt.

Complaining about a major hardcore aspect of raid even though apparently raid isn't hardcore.

Assuming that I'm "throwing salt at you" just because you made the thread.No actually, I just think this threads stupid. Also read the thread and all I can find is salt and bs, hence why I posted my first comment.

 

in our 1v1 I dropped to soup lag, it is the server that was laggy. And it doesn't help that sub make lag machines

 

Please keep flame/passive-aggressive comments to yourselves. As far as server lag goes it's hard to tell. Lag machines are bannable and we have a redstone optimization plugin that should reduce the amount of lag redstone produces, and we've even changed the anti-cheat to reduce the lag. In all honesty most of the time it's water/lava streams that people build. We've been looking to find a water optimization plugin as well but no luck. We'll continue to look into reducing lag in anyway we can though.

We dont make lag machines kid. It is cityscraper, matt and other builders that use alot of water that lags the server.

Start Spectating known people that just build on raid. They cause a lot of the lag on Raid. Tell them to leave and go on build if they dont even do anything on Raid except for building structures. AKA Matt AKA Cityscraper.

Dude I griefed WurschtBananes potato farm with water from the highest block radius so he would have to build up to remove it. This was over a month ago. I didn't know that the servers garbage ass host cant handle a 7by7 of water flowing and causes the server to lag out.

Ry23an you went from hackusating now you moved on to lag machine. Go play the server and get your warps tracked instead of crying on the forums.

 

On an unrelated note, whoever x-rayed my base last week also got their hands on ~50 lava buckets I used for autosmelting. I noticed since then that the number of lag spikes went up, gg
