Idea /kill in spawn solution

    When many p4's get low they just kite to spawn and do /kill in a teammate with spawnprotection, so the teammate gets the staff and the chaser can't get it because he has spawnprot. This really is a problem when fighting p4 because everyone can just kite in that way.

    Solutions
    There are two ways to fix this problem, either make it bannable, or add a spawn tag (like on hcf).

    So, if we make it bannable the player and his teammate would get a 1 week ban, yes, that is harsch but that means that they won't do it again.

    If we would make a spawn tag it would be 30 seconds long and there would be red glass showing the border like on hcf. You do not regain spawn prot if you enter spawn again.

    Shouldn't be bannable because that means it'd be more for the rules for the staff to manage and they can't enforce most rules well anyway. Would prefer the glass box thing from HCF.

    Agreeing with @sportyman56, the punishment seems way too harsh and kiting has always been a part of the game. I’d like to see the glass box around spawn idea or have it to where you literally can’t /kill in spawn if you’re combat tagged.

    Dont make raid more hcf. I havent seen this is a problem.

    I often use /kill in spawn to regain hunger, so this is useful to me.

    However, I see that this makes it too easy.

    The best thing to do I think, would be to have a deathban as we had in MCPVP.

    An 1 Minute deathban won’t help at all, because it’s to short.
    You can still use it, as log as you haven’t been hitted in while.

    It’s pretty easy to see if a player does /kill in a teammate at spawn and if you record your fights you could easily send it in to staff.

    I'm not a fan of the combat tag thing because it would encourage running around and wasting time. /kill being disallowed within spawn would be better, imo, but still only a half measure.

    The only way that I see to completely solve the issue of players with spawn prot getting loot from players without spawn prot would be to completely disallow reentering spawn. With that being said, people that use these scummy tactics are more likely to be tracked, so I don't think it necessarily needs to be "fixed".

    I often get stuck in blocks due to block lag and can't warp if the block im glitching into is below me and there is a player near me. ( falling into the glitched block counts as moving when warping)

    Imo it's not that big of an issue, yes it is annoying but so is every other type of kiting. Noob's and the attacker can try loot scoop too. The main one I have an issue with is jumping off in the end and warping, but seeing as mods abused this glitch I doubt it will be fixed

    1) Mods might not be at spawn so how can they see.
    2) Maybe I don't have a recording software or the recording software makes me lag?

    Good argument to criticism, this is why you shouldn't be mod lmao. Having this will mean there will be inconsistent punishments which is worse than it is now. Also with the amount of bias in the staff team I wouldn't be surprised if some players get away with it while others don't. Don't see why they can't make it so you can't go back into spawn with PvP tag.

    Message a mod before you jump someone then. If this would be added, at least some players would be punished for it, and less players would do it because they know that they might get banned for it.

    What if no mods are on which is often the case because the majority aren't active. It wouldn't be fair that someone gets banned when they do it once and someone might get away with it 5 or 6 times.

    Saying that 'many' people do this is a huge overestimate, in my opinion. I have not really seen people abuse this in a long time. I think it's unnecessary to change anything about this, even though the strategy is cheap.
    On the other hand, a lot of people run back into spawn, in the middle of a fight, not to /kill on teammates, but to kite away or to let random people in spawn get the loot.

    I think that kiting is part of raid and that as it may be frustrating it is part of the game. Just like my horrible luck at finding diamonds (haven't found a single one this whole map) you have to deal with it. Also thank you for this wonderfull idea on how to kit <3 ill be using it from now on. Jk lol I don't have any active tea teammates. lol
