Ban system is very poor.

btw /report is for reporting hackers or OOMers (out of map), /chatreport is for hackusating and other chat offenses

 

It’s been this way for a while now. The staff has been always been not-so great when it comes to banning folks. And I don’t know why but they own up to false banning to good players (An example is Removers). The main reason why is because we don’t see phenomenonal players come around often.

Solution is probably take it up with Canoodle, who is the staff manager. You can do this by starting a conversation with her. And go from there.
Other than that it’ll keep happening.

That's is not how the game works lol. He is beating people because he is better than they are.

 

But Canoodle is away, this could have helped previously, maybe Lord_Roke would be the admin to start a conversation with.

 

What do you propose the server does with the staff team and anti cheat? I suppose as players we could all think of a solution.

this is probably because of the hack test that JMODs have to go through in order for them to be promoted.

I've heard from several staff members (not naming who) that they passed the test purely due to luck. I honestly don't think it's an efficient way of making sure mods know what they're doing, considering a lot of them don't.

force the mods to record at all times, this will give proof and stop those certain staff members who refuse to give proof because they just don't have any. this will stop a lot of false bans before they take place, and overall make everything more efficient. I don't know why it isn't a rule already. if somebody's too laggy to play while recording don't give them mod, keep them as a JMOD to where they can efficiently do the job they're able to perform which is to moderate chat.

 

well he had to write 3 appeals that don’t get immediate responses, and it’s not just him. It’s a brawlwide issue. He’s the victim, how would you like it if you were denied service to something you enjoy for something that’s not your fault?

 

Keep mind that I've been false banned a lot too and I just kept appealing until they accepted

 

Maybe if we actually contribute some time and effort to helping them find a better solution, a staff member may read this and say "Hey that's not a bad idea!" and then bring it up in a staff meeting or talk and try to convince the owner and Devs to work on it. If say we find a better anti cheat or some solution within a decent proce range as well, it may be implemented to the server.
