Even if it is, I don't think you could see a base underground. Therefore, mining a tunnel straight to his base from 1000 blocks away seems suspicious.

(I'm not trying to argue with you because I agree with you but, I wanted to quote this because it seemed relevant to what I stated.)

even tho its easy to xray and get away with it, i only make bases below ground as most xrayers are stupid and with skybases there is no come back if it wasnt tracked but was raided

Considering how many gamemodes minimap gives massive advantages in I'm pretty darn surprised it hasn't been banned.
You can hide clients in Minimap really easily, there are many MMs that have cave/chestfinders in them and honestly you don't need them anyways since you can just open your large map and look for anything out-of-the-ordinary.

 

About the >1000 blocks thing. Ritzy unfortunatly locked the post before i could respond.

Its simple: I tracked the base to a 25x25 area. Then i subtracted 12 each so i have the middle, making the search for the base easier.

Then i traveled in nether, at Y120, because i generally like traveling on top more, which has multiple reasons:
1. Many people put their trackers at that altitude in nether, its dumb but people do it.
2. If you use the nether to travel to an overworld position, you always spawn on the surface, which is neat.
3. Back in the days everyone used to do it, and there is no real difference to traveling at y5.

I first traveled to the x, then to the z coordinate. as your base was pretty big, i got lucky and hit it with my tunnel when i reached the coords.

The truth is, there is no way to xray a base from 2000 blocks away. The only thing that an xrayer COULD have done is to xray it before, then travel to the coords. But i have my temptracker for that thing somewhere in the overworld still, so that option is out of the way.

This right here looks suspicious, but i guarantee you that quick warping will not save any warp from being tracked. Also, afaik minimap does not show chest-only skybases.

 

the problem is if you were nether traveling you wouldnt be traveling to his exact cords, you would be traveling to 1/8 cords
unless you had already check over world cords
and traveling at y5 is safer and there is more tunnels at y5 which is why it sounds like bs that you travel at y120

Ryan, i already checked overworld by then, or completely skipped it, one of the both. When i travel to OW coords, i always go to y120. When i travel in nether, its sometimes on top
and sometimes on the bottom. Depends where i start traveling from.

If you travel at 120 for a bit, you will find many tunnels from me or other people. "More caves" is actually a problem, because it means you have to actually do something else than running and holding LMB while mining through the endless netherrack wall.

So you just happened to skip over world cords and go straight to travelling in the nether at the right y level...

The Y level was 120, where many people, including me, travel at. Jesus.

You CANNOT xray something that is outside of your view distance, which is around 100 blocks. Simply because the chunks dont load.

I honestly expect more knowledge from someone who tracked the full map with a 250 narrow. Maybe you are just trolling? I doubt it though.

 

As stated before players who X-ray bases often make the raid look legit by travelling away and then mine to it with 'luck'
? I never tracked or used a tracker
