Idea the much needed mg4 nerf

I think it would just be better to place it as the last gun of its sort; the gun is okay-ish due to it's speed loss, but the problem is the noobs using it.

 

Low level people who use it often don't even stop using it. I have seen people level 20+ who have never tried another gun. I have also noticed that almost every person that gets banned for X-ray uses the gun because its prefer is so op. it should atlas be a 3 hit head kill so the M240 is actually better :V

It would be good if they removed it once you are level 10 :V This way only low level people use it and they dont become reliant on that one gun and try out others.

Every game I get hit by the insane knock back by the mg4. When hit by 1 bullet u get knocked back and can't even play.

 

It would be unfair to have a gun players can use for up to a certain level and then not use again. I think a slight damage nerf is all that is needed to see the mg4 become much less annoying. It wouldn't matter what gun an x-ray hacker uses because they will get you most of the time anyway. The knockback on mg4 seemed very bad before but I haven't noticed it much lately?

 

What MG4 needs is much less knock back, less damage (3 hit head), and less accuracy.

I was knocked back at least 5 blocks on ground. Thats enough to make you almost unable to shoot back and you definitely can't escape the fire.

@Signatured Please reduce Mg4's damage to 3 hits to head and reduced knock back. Way to many people only use this gun and it ruins the game for most people who don't use it.

 

Ice Bear doesn't think noobs should be handicapped just because they are lower level.

 

I think high level guns should be better and lower ones be less powerful though. M4A1 does more DPS that SCAR-H. And mg4 does more than scar h and saw. Lower level guns need to receive nerds and higher lvl ones need buffs. (Intervention, scar-h, ranger, saw, and p90). Most low level guns are too op and you may argue that lower level people need to be able to compete with skilled high level players. But then what it the point of playing. It's fun to get new and better guns, but if the good guns are lower and worse ones are higher than that's f*cked up.

 

Ice Bear feels cheated when Ice Bear dies because they have a better gun not because they are more skilled. Ice Bear says that lower level should be able to compete with high level players just because they are lower level players doesn't mean they are less skilled necessarily; take a returning level 100+ veteran mcwar player vs a level 50 mcwar 2.0 player. Ice Bear that the point of playing is not to level up and get "better guns" Ice Bear says leveling up should get you a wider selection of guns with marginal upgrades. Ice Bear says that with the only thing in the MG4 that should be nerfed is the knock back that's all.

 

It has a 100mag clip and more ammo than all other low level guns. If it keeps the knock back but reduces da,age and accuracy it will be balanced. Up close it would still 3-4 hit head and make the other player almost unable to defend and far range it would no longer be used instead of snipers. I think this would work well.

 

Yeah, but don't give the most powerful gun in the game to them. They already have m4a1 which is the 2nd best automatic out there

 

Everyone that has had SCAR-H knows that MG4 is better. Tier 1 LMG being better than a tier 6 rifle. That's just not right. Why even bother leveling up. If your goal is to get the best gun shots in the game you only need to get to level 15 at max (just a guess). By then you already have m16, M4A1, mg4, msr, and dragunov.

I know people level 30+ who have never even tried another gun for more than a game. They just rely too much on mg4. (You clan probs tell this gun makes me rage)

Seriously? You just said that low level guns should be worse than high level guns. That makes no sense... it's higher level guns that should be good, not low level gun should being op. Low level guns should be able to rival medium level guns, medium level guns should rival high level guns. But low level guns shouldn't be near as good a second high level guns. You will understand this when you reach lvl 65 and have all guns. When you don't work at all to get a low level gun that's op vs when you spend hours or days getting high level guns that are easily countered by low level guns. You can see why many high level players have stopped playing. I could go on with a list of names but won't right now.

Ice Bear clearly said that low level guns should be on par with higher level weapons with possibly some marginal upgrades, Ice Bear did not say they should be worse just because of levels. Ice Bear says that the reasoning that guns should be better the higher level should be strictly better than low level guns if flawed because that applies only in mmorpgs. Imagine if first person shooter games like Overwatch had a leveling system that gave buffs to high level players, it would be an absolute nightmare. Ice Bear isn't arguing that the MG4 shouldn't be left unnoticed Ice bear is just arguing that high level guns shouldn't be stronger just because it is a higher level gun. Ice Bear says about high level players leaving is that it is more than just the MG4 and "op" low level guns it is just a trend because Minecraft is a dying game.
