    Hey guys-

    I want to call out the dedication to a player for promoting Raid in chat. If you haven’t noticed, in the last few days there was a single player who consistently encouraged everyone else to:

    play raid

    If you haven’t been on and don’t know what I’m talking about, I’m referring to none other than @WurschtBanane . I have seen such extreme dedication to the game mode that every 30 seconds, without fail, and at all times of the day his message would broadcast for all to see. I wish I had screenshots, but if you do please share them or chat logs so we can acknowledge his his dedication to the art of macros - Sorry, Raid- and thank him for it.

    Since the macros did open chat, they were allowed. He can’t be banned for having those macros.

    Chat macros are in the disallowed list

    I recorded it but I am away from my main PC so I cant post it.
    I guess he heard people asking for brawl to start advertising, it's just a pitty he was advertising it to current raid players.

    Well uh ok

    I can understand it if chat macros of this sort are banned tbh, even those that allow for millisecond-quick commands belong in here and it doesn't matter which ones are used.
    However - it's still only a chat offence in a way Xd

    if the macros open chat they are allowed. doesn't specify this in the rules but it's the truth, confirmed it with many warz moderators over the several years I've been here

    however if he's spamming it then yes it's not allowed

    Wurst said that a mod told him that mouse macros are allowed
    But the problem in raid is that even if the macro opens chat they can be used to track on raid faster that legit players can.

    I'm pretty sure calledrainer asked if macros were allowed to be used to warp to bases and he was told they weren't allowed

    So what about Razer Synapse macros? I know for a fact that there are Synapse macros that can have a delay set of under 0.05 seconds which is fast enough to make it seem as if there is no delay between opening chat, posting the command, and closing chat/entering the command

    Yeah that's bs, shouldn't be allowed

    Side note: The names PlayRaid and play_raid are open... debating to change mine to it :thinking:

    Was this always allowed or just a rule change?
    I'm pretty sure I asked mods about this before and was told no
    And eil said that it's not allowed if it is automated.

    @Eil can you please get the rules on macros clarified in the rules list and maybe request that it is changed to being disallowed for commands?
    Imo It is an unfair advantage as warping when in team fights is made easier and it is probably near impossible to distinguish auto tracking from a no life tryhard tracker using macros
