Boost Pads

If anything, increase the rarity slightly. There's nothing game-breaking about them. If you time it right, you can catch someone as soon as they hit the ground and get an easy kill or use your own to escape.

 

Or just remove grapples. No point in having both tbh.

 

Will see what I can do, I already got them nerfed to be rarer, will see what I can do about making them a bit rarer, will need to ask opinions from more of the community before doing anything though. Some want it, but you never know if the majority don't.

sponge u place on ground that used to be as rare as barb that when u jump on it would launch you halfway across nether

 

so when you abuse them to kill people with your team its fine, but when it happens to you, you want them removed?

yo dog - colin here, honestly here’s an idea, not sure how the community will take it - maybe make boost pads have 3 or 4 uses after being placed then they get destroyed? if that is possible.

well I meant it as like , for example if i’m in a 1v2 and only I have boost pads and each pad only had 2 uses, I would use them to make the fight into a 1v1 (only one person could jump) and then go back for the other, that is if the person uses the boost pads, if not, let’s say i’m under looted, I could run away and loot or pull from ec.

other examples would be at castle or construction or sniper tower where people use boost pads + grapples. you would only have x amount of tries to grapple up before needing another boost pad, if they’re more rare to loot, it may help out
