What do you like about Raid?

The community

 

Tracking is what brought me back to Raid, and it's my favorite aspect of the game mode.

 

You track?

 

I would have to say Koth. It is the only thing I have really do on it other than mine.

 

Tracking, being teamed up with incredibly talented players and friends, the PvP and team wars (probably my favorite - so much fun), KOTHs, the uniqueness of it all, and the incredibly dedicated and fun community. Basically everything Raid is right now I love. Sure it has its issues every now and then but the server is incredible and it keeps me coming back.

 

Where are these trackers?
I have only ever seen wurst and hockey at my AFK

 

Having teammates I can trust not to raid me even after I've semi-quit and am trying to help solve an issue and when the person who started the whole thing literally only has a grudge against me
which is another way of saying I currently have little reason to play Raid lol

 

Tbh when I played raid on mcpvp and brawl after the merge my favorite thing to do was grind. I enjoyed mining obsidian for gold farms, going on super long mining trips, creating giant melon farms in the sky, etc. I do enjoy pvping, tracking, and raiding, but not nearly as much as just going around building something or mining.

 

Everything, Raid has everything i want to even be playing minecraft anymore, if there wasn't raid i definitely wouldn't be playing minecraft anymore.

Most of MC is just a plugin fest, mini games and such. Like roblox. I understand LOTS of people enjoy that but vanilla minecraft seems to be a secondary game to plugin minecraft these days. So survival will always remain the best gamemode for me, since I'm such a longtime player. But most survival survivors are HILARIOUSLY pay to win, its stupid. spend 50 bucks and have an undeniably insane advantage over the other in the form of items and perks.

Now, Raid, hate on it all you want but it did this right. Buying ranks isn't a NECESSITY by any means, a player with 5 warps can be just as good or better than a player with 15. So theres never any pressure to buy more warps since you relatively have the same chance of success, if you're good, of course. And then theres soup, which is enjoy more than pot pvp, tracking, and unclaimed land (I'm bad at TNT cannons) makes raid awesome.

I still do miss 1.7 PvP and enchanting tho, 1.7 PvP personally felt more fluid and 1.7 enchanting made it so not everyone had P4, so more iron 1v1's instead of people (like me) walking around in p4 all day cause it isn't that hard to get.

I love raid!

 

Had a lotta fun discovering new and better methods for various things on the server, beyond just tracking. Over 1k gold per hour gold farm that no one raided on Map 2 was probably my favorite. Finding a way to gather obby at 2-3x the normal gather rate was also fun.

In this order:

0) Wandering the map aimlessly
1) Raiding poorly hidden bases
2) Selling said loot and getting ungodly rich
3) Dropping said gold or loot in drop party
