Idea What is going on with the weird helicopter views in Mcwar?

    Why is the helicopter or ac-130 inverted so oddly that we can not see what we are shooting at. What if we decreased the time span that one can be in the helicopter or ac-130 to 30 seconds, and fixed this inverted view?

    I play in 1.8.9, have max render distance, and am still unable to see helicopters/etc. I use the helicopter textures and files from the War pack, and still no dice. To make sure that I didn't mess up transferring them to my own resource pack, I tried using the default pack alone, but I still couldn't see them. I guess I have to live with being shot from the heavens and not being able to retaliate. Also, the only mod I have is Optifine.

    No. I cannot see helis in any of the versions, with any resource pack, or any render distance.

    But you get to shoot people, and you have a clear view? As well as it does not affect your resource packs?

    I can't see them in the sky, but I can see them while I'm in them, and can shoot people, yes.

    Exactly, I can not see people when I am in them, it is blocked by the helicopter itself.

    As Lekosa said, try to play in 1.8.9. As far as I know this fixes the problem.

    Weird since I play 1.8.9 w/ Labymod+ Optifine with 16 render distance and I've never had a rendering issue. The AC-130 glitches out sometimes when I get into it, but there's a really small chance

    Same happens to me, I can see helicopters and AC-130's in the sky, but if I'm using the AC-130 I sometimes cant see what I'm shooting at.

    Yep, because you are in the helicopter at a weird view.

    I have no modifications, I just play in 1.8.9 normally and I never have any problems with seeing ships in the sky or seeing what I'm shooting at from the helis and AC.

    lmao. @avisel03 You are using the wrong texture pack. Use The Extra planes one. (the big one) do /texture and click on the big pack. This will help.
