Idea Gun Game needs update.

Woah, nonono :v grace periods and no gun demotions??? Way to op..

 

I also don't like being demoted, but I think the person who gets the knife kill should not level up to the next gun because they didn't get a kill with the gun, which is the aim. Adding all the guns into gungame would be good, but then the score would be uneven. I am not sure if this was the inital reasoning for missing some guns out. It does seem strange to have 5-6 guns of every kind and then only 3 shotguns.
I don't think a grace period is necessary at the start of the game, other than in one in the chamber, but I think spawn resistance MUST be added. You can basically die as soon as you spawn, and spawning into a fight between two other people means you die almost immediately. I would be interested to see the knife at the end easier to pass, maybe by adding damage increase, or maybe it could even be switched with the tomahawk.

I personally think that gungame, and all free for all gamemodes need some changes, but I think the main priority should be to make more spawnpoints so that people don't spawn inside of eachother, spawn right behind someone else or spawn into a fight. I have heard that this was implemented to reduce camping, but personally I don't think that this is as much of a problem as spawning right behind someone else.
Also, maybe the spawn time of everyone could be slightly reduced, as 6 seconds is a long time in a free for all gamemode, and it just seems unfair, especially if you die because someone spawned behind you. I think all players with ranks should not get less wait before respawn, but that for free for all modes, everyone has the same wait, to make it more fair. It is already a huge advantage to get less spawn time in the team gamemodes and infect, which doesn't overly disadvantage anyone, but players with ranks in the free for all modes get advantages for having more time alive during the game.
