    It is not difficult to get a lot of gold. Once you have a lot of it it is useless except you intend to gapple 3 times every fight. A team balance would give the unused gold a new use. Maybe you could buy a pvp booster (Speed strenght and fres) for 300 gold for 1 hour just for your team, for 1000 gold an extra team warp, or decrease teamcaps and yoj can unlock more places for members for ( 1 more member 250 gold, 2 members 500 gold, 3 members 1000 gold etc)

    I’d like to see a team balance that could be used in shop by any teammember (this could be changes with /team perms) combined with your ideas.

    I really like this idea of being able to upgrade your team. I had an idea similar to this as a purchasable feature via brawl shop, with those ones being extra warps, team cap increase etc, but being able to get team boosters with gold is a really cool concept.

    Side note: For a way to spend excess gold, we could have a temporary shop with op / cool things every so often (mentioned in more detail somewhere else). League has a shop similar to this and I really like it.

    Brawl needs money though. For $5-10 or something, I'd happily increase my team cap. Yes, everyone would get a key. It would give money to brawl and wouldn't be that op imo. Just set a limit on the max you can have and there ya go.

    Interesting concept, but I feel like it would make the gap between experienced players and newer players even bigger. With some changes I could see it happening, maybe not give specific advantages to your team, but having a team balance where your teammates could withdraw gold from as well as Carno mentioned (although I could see some issues arising from that as well).

    To be fair though, the experienced players and newer players are basically playing an entirely different game. Raid has 2 parts, the actual full potential of raid, and the multiplayer survival world end of it. I think it's either one or the other for people, and that's ok - I just don't think we should be tuning everything towards the entirety of raid. A legitimate gold balance for a team is probably a source of conflict, frustration and lots of betrayal. I honestly don't see it being used when you could just toss them some gold out of your own bank account.

    Fair point. I would be okay with Team balances as long as the stuff available to buy aren't too OP. Maybe cosmetic stuff for teams and slight gameplay advantages.

    Either make the team warps, team caps and pvp boosters purchaseable or add a team balance to upgrade your team ingame.
    But keep in mind, that i ment this for players who have an useless big ammount of gold and dont know what to do with it. I think this would occupy players to bot leave raid when there is no pvp.

    half my team has decent pvp'ers in it however its the other half i don't feel would use team balance appropriately. Its when u see them constantly with a balance under 1g u think about this.Bigger teams such as Legacy,Sublime,Toxic & Chaos (sorry if i missed your team) have OP players within with high balances so they wouldnt need to spend team balance on like leather or as one nub spent 1k gold buying diamonds. So in shot i will work for others but no for me

    No reason to add extra team warps for the people that can afford it...only like 50 people even HAVE 1000 gold, and that is just for a warp. This just contributes to the domination of several teams amongst the rest of the server. Stop grinding for gold and buy whatever item you need whenever you need it IMO.

    The problem of "too much gold" affects next to nobody, we don't need to add buffs just for them.

    These are (usually) the players that have been playing for a long time and contribute most to the server. Although I think we should try to merge the two sides, we do need to address the issue of gold. As Eil said before, it is currently just a competitive stat at higher levels. You really don't need more that 100 gold to be self sufficient imo. Essentially, this feature would be there if people wanted to use it - similar to tracking, the shop etc.With a map that lasts so long, an end game feature like this is needed to keep things fresh. Besides, it might even encourage others to grind gold more.

    "It might encourage others to grind more"...If we need to force players to spend any amount of time efficiently gaining even more resources we are doing it wrong. Encouraging more grinding makes the game harder to just jump into for new players. All of these threads by top players that "contribute the most to the server" only make the game less and less accessible to new players.
    Getting just 100 gold takes some players, especially those unfamiliar with raid, hours! It's easy for people experienced with minecraft, raiding, and economy to get gold quickly, but not everyone.

    You can mine 100 gold easily just by caving in a very short amount of time. This takes no experience at all and is enough to get people on their feet. What I was more so saying is that if there is an incentive for people to get more gold, such as this end game shop element, then people might try to sell more in the shop - which is ultimately helping less experienced players to come.

    And again, anyone can do this. It is only the player's fault if they don't use the features on the server. You might as well play call of duty but never shoot a gun imo.

    This is how you kill a gamemode...It is not the player's fault if they don't want to spend a few hours just to get ready to play the game. And I still contend that it'll take a new player several hours to get 100 gold. MOST players online have 0-10 gold...bal some random people lol.

    Man I'm sorry if I'm coming across as rude, but this just doesn't make any sense to me. How is adding a late game feature so people can actually use hundreds if not thousands of gold instead of it just sitting there "killing the hame"? Chances are, the inexperienced players won't use it or know it even exists, which is their fault if we advertise it and try to make it as easy to understand as possible. They are simply happy playing PURE vanilla survival. I'm not going to continue arguing over how long it takes to get gold, I simply stated that as a guideline as to how easy anyone can get it - keep in mind though this is aimed for the mid-late map stage. I strongly believe if players have an option to upgrade something by using gold, more people will participate in shop selling and value gold more. As for the low balance thing you said, that's mainly because they don't deposit their gold. They could have 1000 gold sitting in a chest for all we know. There needs to be more incentives and communication of features to bridge the gap, and as said before, we need to also pay attention to the veterans / experienced players and their concerns.

    I meant your attitude, not necessarily this feature. The mindset that it is the PLAYERS fault.
