I suppose you're sort of right there, but I still wouldn't be worried about WarZ. It's a matter of time before new candidates for mod on WarZ pop up (adding to the ones that are there already).

 

Yeah that does come as a shocker. But only 1 of those 3 had been pretty active lately (that being Carsonn). The other two said themselves that they were far too busy lately and weren't on very much. That being said, yes it sucks that WarZ lost quite a bit of staff, but like I said, I don't think you should be worried about the end of WarZ

 

That last part... It's not that I'm worried. I just don't think that the current two moderators for WarZ that are left will accomplish a lot. One of them hasn't talked in the WarZ designated channel in months, the other is very busy with his life so I won't say anything about him.
I left not knowing that Carson or NMH would resign, but honestly I feel as if the gamemode could of been dragged on longer if I could of put more effort into it but I was focusing in other things. Not that I'm trying to saying that nothing will be done, I just think that not enough will. I was practically doing most of the stuff by myself for a pretty decently long while. That's seriously a huge demotivation. Also I said I wasn't as active as I used to be, but I still put in my hour a day so I did do some stuff but nothing to the 6+ hours I used to put in.

 

My apologies, I didn't read your outro correctly regarding your activity when I wrote that post. I'm not too familiar with the game mode but from what I've heard you've put a hell of a lot of work on WarZ. I'm sure everyone is thankful for all the hard work and effort that you put in to it, and from what I'm hearing, you put in as much work as you could of even with the struggle of doing it all by yourself at times. (props for that) . Regarding the two WarZ mods, there's really not much that can be done to maybe boost their activity from what I'm hearing, so pretty much I guess WarZ players will have to call for staff from different servers if they need help (until hopefully new mods pop up). Till then I guess it'll drag but I think it should end up fine in the long run -insert shrug emoji here-

 

Not much else can be done though, considering there's pretty much no active staff specifically assigned to WarZ

 

The issue is that there are nearly no good candidates. It's hard to get new staff when there are few people who could actually handle the responsibilities

 

Staff are global and will respond to reports on all servers. The server they apply for is just the server which they put the most Input in too.

 

The moderation of it isn't what I'm concerned about personally, it's the management and growth (or I guess slowing the decay at this point) of it. I think a temporary manager needs to be put in place for it (similarly to when Cuddled did it with wario when he was mod) to make sure it doesn't fall any lower. Perhaps a small, organized and dedicated team (such as the news team) of other staff members could take care of WarZ, and by doing so, a new leader / focus should be gained.

Until the playerbase increases in size again, which may be this summer, new Moderators won't be needed. I seriously doubt another increase, as the constant players are beginning to fade out. If there's not people playing all the time, what gives players incentive to come back?

No current community member is prepared or shows interest in becoming staff for WarZ.
