That's 100% a personal problem, If they can't afford a "god bow" (which is fairly easy to get) then either don't leave spawn, or don't complain if you die because you have a disadvantage when it's your choice not to obtain a "god bow".

Sorry but that's the persons choice, if they don't want to grind for a bow then its their loss. There is no disadvantage when it comes to Gear/Weapons/Items because anyone can obtain it.

I think if you can make good use of the many materials in minecraft for a fight (obby, pearls, various potions, milk, buckets, blocks) it makes for more dynamic and creative pvp.
All of these things are also being put at risk OR being used, and the user has to first get the materials anyways. Every map reset will give you plenty of regular str/speed pvp, but as the map progresses people don't want to just hold onto their gold, so it gets put into pvp.

If you want black/white soup pvp you are going to have to go to kit, raid will never be a place for endless fair fights!

What I meant regarding the bow is that not everyone can always afford the inventory slots.

Just because i had a lot of freetime in the past 3-4 months because i was doing very well at school and in my sport competitions it doesnt mean that i am able to do this always @TheMel0n. Plus i am hardly/never online on weekdays.

Once again that's a personal problem, stop trying to justify why you can't play. I hardly play games in general considering my 2 jobs are more important but I have over 20 sets of Prot IV armor on my alts. You just want something to argue about, I'm not all about the drama so try it with someone else, or better yet just stay on topic please.

He's not throwing heat, Just some immaturity thrown into words while being hopeful to start some drama on a video game then when I go to defend myself he can flame.

It sounded like you were arguing and annoyed by me because I kept trapping you with my bow. It's hard to understand what you meant over a message because there is no emotion through messages like there is through a microphone or even in person, so my bad.

 

Its hard, you remove the crap that no one likes, and going to be even less vanilla, you leave it all in and people just abuse.

 

If you want fights without all this **** go to kitbrawl or other kitpvp servers

Even during the Spvp map many people brought 2 sets and many gapples to fights. The only change i see is that the new players are butthurt without anything happening

 

Agreed. Raid should be chaotic and fresh full of exciting PvP. We need to stand out from other servers

 

I said it should be exciting and chaotic, implying that changes do need to be made and that we should make our PvP more unique / customized. Not sure if I misunderstood your reply here btw, I'm slightly confused with it.

But yeah, people will have their own opinions and not everyone will agree on what will happen / should happen. I personally think new things should be added to pvp like custom skills / weapons / items for pvp that you can buy for gold in a shop of sort at spawn, which will 100% move us farther away from the old, bland, generic, dying, dry, repetitive, hardcore theme that we've been trying to work with for years now (which I personally think would be better for growth if we do move past this ideology and stop trying to preserve it even though it's already dead). I can fully see how people won't like this, but really, practice servers are the place for fair, hardcore, pure pvp 1v1s, Raid is a survival server, we need to spice it up a bit, it's essentially been the same for what, 4-5 years?
