Don't you ****ing dare throw the argument of "morality" around when people are getting banned without being able to see any evidence.

 

Ice Bear says they see evidence after they get banned not before just because they are suspected. A screen share won't solve the problems of a false ban either because it is a my word versus your word thing. Ice bear says the only way to defend is to look at the cold hard evidcence and dispute it from there.

 

no, if you look on their screen and see that they're running a client, you'll ban them. if not, then you let them go. there's literally no way to dispute it

 

Ice bear says that what if the hacker just uninstalls the hacks or moves the hacked files to somewhere the staff doesn't check. Also some hacked clients don't have a popup menu. Ice Bear asks what if they turn off their hacks a before a screen share. Ice Bear says too many factors and browsing through the files would take staff quite a bit of training.

 

PingWoo was banned for using an autoclicker in his videos (he's unbanned because he wasn't using one haha), but eh, considering how many anti-KB techniques there are (especially in 1.8 Soup PvP), I think reliable anti-KB bans are extremely difficult. What you honestly need is a screenshare protocol, but let's face it, that isn't going to happen.

 

Or just an honest mistake. If someone really wanted to see you gone they'd ban you for being consistently toxic, instead of "making up" a reason and banning you for KB modifiers

You might want to rewatch some of the suspicious segments in that. He does take little knockback, but
a) there are dozens of techniques to reduce KB in such a way, and while it's hard to tell exactly which strat he's using, I'm hopeful in saying that he wouldn't be this blatant if he were cheating.
b) considering that this evidence is coming from someone who has been banned repeatedly for rather similar evidence I'm not too convinced at just how legitimate this is as a source.
c) this is Brawl. If everyone was banned for the few times that they give hits like Xion did in Video 2 (Vid 1 isn't working for me, if there's blatant stuff there then I'll admit to being wrong but I can't watch it for some reason) then half the staff team would be out of here. I don't see anything too consistent here that would warrant a fool-proof ban.
That being said, Xion certainly used to mess around with clients, let's be honest, and he is a friend, which does make me a tad biased. If I can get the first video to load I'm open to a change of opinion. Personally quite a few players and staff members have gotten hits like that (I have in the past when I was really warmed up, but I'd be the last person to use any sort of cheat or anything like that), but that doesn't warrant a ban if they happen here and there.

At least I see my mistakes and faults, and don't immediately insult others whenever they have a slightly differing opinion (although I have done so). I can't watch the first video no matter which device I use, so if there is something palpable in it then I can't really do anything about it. There is no need to be rude or obnoxious at me just because I disagree, and please do keep your PotPvP-style behaviour at a minimum.
You also didn't read my post, because I did make issues in my views clear, so I suggest re-reading it.

 

i read your post and if we both agree it was full of mistakes then its clearly unneeded and useless as i said so i see no point for it. i also do not understand what place you have in this thread since it does not involve you in any way and youre only contributing to the confusion that the staff struggle with by putting your, once again, unneeded and useless bias into the mix

99% of the server are ragdolls? the other 1% (maybe less) are trade worthy. now you sit here and try to degrade yourself as if you didnt just smack me accross the map. lol. see when i was in your shoes i didnt degrade myself. i told people they just didnt know what cheats were, cuz they didnt. and then i gave undeniable proof that i was legit. thats the difference between you and i, and why i got unbanned in 2 minutes and you havent gotten unbanned in a week. you have a silly argument and youre behaving in the way that ive seen and experienced every cheater behave in the last 5 years.

and the funny part is after degrading yourself, your little friend comes along trying to make you out to be a skilled player, saying there are ways to decrease kb as if i didnt already know that. your defenses are clashing and you look like a joke
