    Just like the mcpvp /price command. You do /price [item] and you'll see the lowest price of that item that is available in shop displayed in chat. (Something like this: The lowest price of cooked porkchop is 0.75 gold)

    This would be very useful while selling stuff since it takes ages to have to check what stuff costs, would also be handy if you'd like to buy something, but don't have much gold.

    +1, I don't see why not. I was talking to eel about a "quick buy" thing similar to this, but it would automatically purchase the quantity you wanted at the lowest price. So like /buy soup 10 or whatever

    if you were out of soup or maybe in pvp could you not just do /buy soup 15 and it eliminates the point where u go /shop - soup - [cheapest one] - amount and have the chance to get attacked in that time

    Yes, but I personally don't have an issue with this. It would cause a boom in the soup economy and would create longer fights / more chance to stay alive instead of just running when you are out of refills / soup. If they want to keep using gold to buy soups, then I say let them, it could get quite costly over time.
