[Question] How did you learn about tracking?

I'd got hints of knowledge about tracking from people, but never actually knew how to. Someone showing with one direction (S, rather than SE for example) always confused me until I was directed to the Wiki which showed the image depicting what it meant and what it was actually tracking. From there, everything seemed to make sense, and I learned to track with bassmaster, and refined my skill from repeatedly tracking targets.

 

Tracking always sounded to expensive to set up so I didn't bother learning till I found out about auto macros and xraying with a 500 narrow
But TBH just kinda got tips from friends and wasn't confident till I did my first raid on an AFK and then just worked on which designs I liked and how much time I was willing to waste on obby depending on my goals eg. Counter tracking or just bases

 

Have you learned how to offset yet?

Made vanillas back on Mcpvp so learned a bit there but then when I joined brawl me and Uribokia learned together

I got introduced to raid through an irl friend and I fell in love with the feeling of raiding someone or getting revenge on someone who raided me. I got addicted to raiding, but my friend was the only one that knew or had an idea of how to track. Eventually he got too lazy to track and slowly become more and more inactive while I still wanted to raid. So, I looked up videos online, asked a few players that I knew knew how to tracker, and I set off to make my own tracker. I created a small vanilla at the edge of spawn and eventually through trial and error learned and created bigger and better trackers.

 

From @Parkman1221 in a Skype call screensharing me. Didn’t understand it though so me and ultra spent months of time teaching ourselves how to vanilla track. We then found out stacked tracking through YouTube videos.

 

Using the forums. Also hi guys. It's been 6 months since i've gone on minecraft.
