WarZ "Revival" Thread

Putty doesn't spend money made from Brawl on himself, all server income is sent to keep server up. But I mean a few people do keep buying ranks, I mean tops you would get for a free rank would be a week. For WarZ specific, and I agree it would help the sever counts. But theres also the POV from the business side.

I think a LIFETIME rank giveaway would boost the player count up by a huge amount, it would make it so people grind for a reason.

Giving a rank for a large amount of time will hurt the server, income based, more than help it. Thats why i'm saying 1 week is where the line can be set at.

 

Maybe give everyone free VIP so those who want to come back to warz can get a small taste of that experience again, but those who still play regularly will still buy the mvp or elite so the income isn't hurt too much. Honestly I'd come back for free vip with the same eagerness as I would if it were elite instead. But I think a free month or so is needed

MVP should be given for the first month then maybe have a sale and have people buy ranks
Also the lack of staff is stupid they demoted my boy snacks and jay but they don’t demote Eils dumbass
I’d also not like to see the same people become mods again because everyone knows ritzy and cloudy apply get accepted and they dissapear for months after claiming they’ll help the community

 

Jay wasn't demoted, staff had their own personal reasons to demote Sn4x5 although we may disagree with them, and Eil does a lot of work behind the scenes, he's no WarZ Mod. He doesn't have the knowledge of the game. With Jay re-applying, maybe he can make as big a difference as he did before. MVP can also not be given for a whole month, that would never go over. Perhaps a 3 day thing like before the reset, and then a sale for a week or two after, to give initiative to come back.

 

Yes. VIP would be acceptable for a longer extended period, your reasoning is perfect and I totally agree. Giving them a taste of what they're missing, and still being able to let people get a better rank through purchashing one. MVP or ELITE ofc

And make sure you update the suspected hacker policy. I'm not coming back when aids xrayers are running around everywhere. Or any hacks for that matter.

For anyone that thought I was a lazy piece of **** when I was mod(well I was a piece of ****) but I wasn't lazy. People in the staff team prevented any change because they argue. I brought up screensharing and everyone assured me that it wasn't coming back (with no explanation why).

For people that think change will happen, don't. Too many people higher up don't care and when they read this they know who they are. (If you do care implement some changes man, I'm not trying to insult you , just listen to the community.)

The lack of change and support from the higher ups did lead me to be ****. I also became abusive in the later stages which I failed to mention in my resignation. In fact, I never got caught. It only was revealed when I admitted and a fellow warz player chat reported me (after I already submitted my resignation). And if you're really curious what I did, it was just force tps for alts. Not in fights though. Also a little too jumpy on the /warn command but other than that I really did try to help warz.


If you don't want to read the essay:

• Bad coordination in staff prevents proper changes.
• Screensharing will never be implemented.

You're part of the problem. You were inactive 80% of the time you were here, and you claim that change never occurred. All you have to do is speak to higher-ups, such as Jay did, and find things to do on the servers. Jay implemented a whole new zone 6 and had an event based around it, with other events occurring while he was Mod.

 

You of all people telling me that I was useless. For the record I did the massive snow rework and I encouraged roke and putty to demote inactive people which happened right after my resignation.

 

Incomplete snow re-work. Half-assed, and hated by most of the community. You talk like everyone on the server hadn't been saying the same thing for a long time about Cloudy and Trogs.

 

Exactly you will view them as coincidences because you believe I didn't do anything. (More map edits after snow rework and it wasnt incomplete, more people resigning). But on top of that, you didn't do anything yet you say the revival of brawl is as simple as contacting the higher ups. Get real.

 

tbh the snow rework didnt solve any of the big problems such as hackers or the dying gamemode, and asking higher ups to demote inactives doesnt hurt but it doesnt help either, that doesnt solve the major issues of warz. contributing to a reworked protocol, running events - those are some of the things that actually needed to be done.

I'm not necessarily heavily involved in the WarZ community, but I do understand the communities lack of faith. If anyone who has acutall informed or well excecuted ideas for updates, I can try and help out with implementing them. I'll basically only listen to plausible ideas and ones that are supported by active members / people who understand the gamemode well. I can also try and help out with the hacker situation in the meantime since you fools don't exactly have an active staff member. Just pm if someone is bhopping you and I'll hop on. Anyways, point is, I'll try and help you guys until jay gets promoted (please ffs) but idk how much i can do.
