Is Mc-War gonna get fixed soon?

They convince us about work that will be done but at this stage it seems like bs.

 

I am with @Prouddyyy on this matter. @Lekosa5 has said many times that the war devs are MIA. in my opinion they need to be fired and the actual working brawl staff need to go into the server community and see if anyone (that has a clean record and is respectful) would be willing to help out. as I feel that there are a few players on the war server that would be a great help to the server in keeping rule breakers at minimum and if they know anything about coding they can work on the bugs and nerfing the guns that need it

Ice Bear says if they are working they are working on a better anti cheat. Ice Bear says who knows they might actually be too busy working on an MC-War compatible anti cheat to fix bugs and balance guns. This would make sense as hackers are a high priority.

 

the anti cheat that mineplex uses is just one from the options that you can donload from the CP website. and that one blocks almost all non custom clients. which most of the kids that come onto brawl to ruin our day use as they are under the age of 15 and have no idea what java code looks like. i dont mean to be rude but i dont think the devs are working hard. just hardly working :/

 

Ice Bear says brawl does have an anti heat the is effective to ban fly hackers the problem with MCwar is that it can’t tell the difference between an ac130 and a fly hacker.

Brawl as a whole has many things constantly being worked on. Sig has more than just War to do. @Lekosa5 and myself have been creating a list of current ideas and problems that need to be fixed. As to how long it will be before everything is actually done, I'm not sure. However, I do assure you War 2 is not just being completely ignored.

 

I see where you're coming from, and I'm not disagreeing with you. If it were up to me, War 2 would have a lot more time being spent on it, however I can't really make those decisions. Ben and I are doing what we can to push fixes and updates, and putty has been aiding in accomplishing those as well.

 

just found another bug. i logged on to play and nothing having to do with gameplay would work. my guns had no amo wouldnt scope or shoot. my tomo is just a useless dagger in my hand. my ping is 39 like normal and others can see and shoot me but non of my gear is working

 

Yes, this is a glitch which unfortunately occurs sometimes. We have no idea what causes it but it wares off after a while and you should be fine again.

I happened since the start. One way I got rid of it was to log off and relog. Or have someone kick u.

This is why the server is dying. There are no devs who actually take care of anything, compared to thriving servers. I get that minecraft is a dying game, but Brawl could probably get a thousand active players, if they worked on constantly improving their gamemodes. MC-War is a genius idea, that should be able to attract houndreds of players, but people get bored of it too quickly because it's unbalanced and too buggy.
They should either get better or more devs, and when you look at the donations coming in to the servers, it honestly shouldn't be a problem.
I guess that some people at the top are just too greedy with the money that comes in.

 

Fixing the war server + an anti-cheat = more players = gaining more popularity = even more players = money = get more experienced staff = more/better updates + spreading more Brawl ads = more and more players = even more money. I know the staff is busy with a lot of things but just look at this. If they fix these things they can get what they want, buy what they want and do what they want. (While still maintaining the server of course)

 

Hm, good ol’ war still being neglected. It seems that most of the coding work goes towards the more popular servers, which is a good marketing tactic. Check out party for some constant updates and fixes.

 

Adding the Anti Cheat isn't going to make the server strive again. As @Prouddyyy was saying, things such as more frequent updates is what will more than likely bring people.
