Grind server

Good - it's the first few days and weeks of the map. Building large-scale trackers aren't worth it yet since the risk involved isn't yet balanced out by rewards from stacked vaults and the like. I reckon once voting tokens are available for use again this will change massively.

You don't know much about tracking

The start of the map is the best time to track as players spend more time at bases than spawn.
You don't need to raid a base as soon as you track it

 

I think that people are more focused on setting their bases up, than selling the stuff they have. The progression of the map is a bit slower than usual, though, because of the 1.7ish enchanting.

Everyone is building trackers. Werent you the one complaining all the time last map about how grinding takes so much time? Now its ok? Funny.

@Colonel_Graff It always takes me a week or two to get my farms and autobrewers up so i can compete with you in the shop. I have been trying to get a couple of p4 sets and many tools.

Lebron will dominate on enchants this map

 

I agree with a few of the posts above, it’s the first week of the map but everyone has a different gameplan. Some people are trying to get gold, others are simply trying to set up a base and grind to get good armor/tools in the beginning of the map, and some started working on trackers immediately. With the 1.7/1.8 mixed enchant I saw a lot more people taking the grinding route to get it out of the way but it’s also a lot more difficult this map so it’s taking a bit longer to get out of the way. I predict to see things even out competitively a month into the new map.

Interesting. When I did a survey a while ago many people complained that raid was too grindy. Hopefully this won't deter people from playing / getting started into raid, or possibly making them more likely to quit after being raided since it *might* be more difficult to bounce back up again. Hope staff will keep looking at this, would be a shame if solving one problem just worsened another.

 

I enjoy the grinding of raid, sets it apart from most vanilla servers where everything is given to you in the form of kits. Grind now = fun for the rest of the map

 

Unless you get tracked for what you grind, it comes down to it since p4 is rarer tracking is more common then before, right?

and each set you loose is that bit more valuable then it would have been previously
