    What time zone are you in? - Pacific Daylight Time
    Are you multilingual? Can you speak multiple languages? - I speak primarily English though I am able to understand basic Spanish meaning I can engage in basic conversations; I am not fluent. Additionally, I can speak Vietnamese though I am better at understanding it than speaking.

    What is your experience and knowledge of Brawl? - I have been on this server for a very long time I've been here since MCWAR 1.0 , sure I've quit in between, but I had enough experience that I have a knowledgeable grasp of the rules and mechanics of the game mode. In terms of my experience, it has been an interesting one considering the fact that I speak in the third person, it gave me a distinction which was nice but others rightfully so thought I was cringy. Still, I enjoy this server and it is my favorite past time
    What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? - I currently have no experience moderating servers.
    Why do you want to become a moderator on Brawl? - I am not a very sentimental person, I will not lie and say that Brawl is my second home or that I have any sense of duty to protect the server. My reason for joining is purely practical. Whenever I play and notice hackers with no one to stop them it upsets me because the server is effectively at the mercy of a random hacker. I'd rather have the capacity to do something to benefit myself and the rest of the server then just quit and wait for the hacker to leave or for a moderator to come.

    Have you ever used a hacked client before? - I have not and do not plan to.
    Have you ever been punished (banned, kicked, muted, etc) legitimately on a public Minecraft server? If so, why? - I do recall getting banned for advertising a server once it was because I wanted to tell my friend a server IP.

    What do you consider your greatest strength? - I am quite likable among the MCWAR and MCBUILD community I don't have many enemies so my decisions are likely not to draw scrutiny. Besides this, I am not sure what other strengths I have besides being a well-rounded person.
    What do you consider your greatest weakness? - In terms of chat offenses I am likely to be a lot more tolerant however, this is not to say that I am tolerant of hacking. If I see a hacker I will immediately take action. Another weakness I have is my toxicity to hackers no one ever sees what I say to hackers nor do they question (cause that person is a hacker) but In a staffing postion, it is very unprofessional.

    Anything else you would like to state? - Has anyone ever wondered why I never gave up speaking in the third person? A major reason I do it is a mechanism against raging. MCWAR is a very demoralizing and rage inducing game. I just think that speaking in the third person prevents me from flaming in chat. And to those who think I am immature because I speak in the third person you are right to some degree but is it really going to affect my performance as a moderator. I believe that a moderator's duty is to help keep server order and to believe that a little quirk like saying "Ice Bear says" can stop or impede me from doing a job just isn't fair. I hope others judge me for my actions and look beyond my quirks in determining my maturity.

    Hey Ice_Bear, glad to see you applying! As of now, I don't think you're quite ready. Here's why:

    • Application: Your application is very short, and lacking in detail. Try to answer each question in as much detail as possible (without rambling on of course). -1
    • Maturity: Although you mention in your application you'd stop talking in the third person if accepted, I believe this is a sign of lack of maturity as it stands now. In addition, I've seen (rarely) comments back at other people that a staff member probably wouldn't want to say. (Nothing that bad of course, just unprofessional.) If you'd like to become staff one day, I'd highly recommend talking normally. -1
    • In-game: As said above, things like how you talk greatly affect your image in-game. Other than that, you are very active, and I've never seen any problems with you. +1
    • Forums: From what I've seen, almost all of your posts are helpful, however, certain things such as the way you speak and whatnot can again affect your image. +1
    Overall, I do not thing you are ready yet. Working on these small things however could for sure put you in a position as a great applicant. Work on these and you'll have my up-vote. For now, -1

    EDIT:     With you adding a bit more detail and fixing the grammar aspects and whatnot, changing my vote to a +1. I still do believe you have a bit to work on, but also are still a great candidate. Best of luck!

    Can I edit my application because during the time I created this I was in kind of a rush. I mainly want to add more details is that fine? Mainly change everything to the first person and add more details.

    +1, It doesn't bother me that you speak in third person. There is people IRL that do that because of habit, and other stuff. You're a super nice guy, and you're super active. Something you could work on, is being active on Discord. But besides that, goodluck bud :smile:!

    Edit: Your application is very short though... which can be worked on.

    Seem to be active in game, seem to care about the gamemode and active on the forums.

    You can't get denied for speaking in 3rd person, and I think that you being able to keep to it for so long shows some really good useful skills. It shows dedication.

    However, you application is rather short and adding more detail would be better.

    +1 because from what I've seen you're active and helpful, and short applications shouldnt matter - being concise is better than waffling, whatever other people might say :smile:

    The third person thing does bother me a bit and I can see it damaging your image as a staff member, but for what it's worth I respect your reasoning. It shows a desire to improve.

    Couldn't care less about you speaking in 3rd person. Contrary to the popular belief of many people in the community: staff are allowed to enjoy themselves.

    One thing I would say though, in situations where you are supposed to be serious, such as if you're punishing a player, participating in a discussion in staff chat or speaking in a staff meeting, I would advise against doing it. You've already done this by writing your staff application normally, so this is mostly just advice and not criticism.

    Not only do we need more staff to deal with people breaking the rules, especially hackers, but you've been frequently posting suggestions and responding to them on the forums. Your amount of contribution is satisfactory, I think you'd be a good staff member. +1, best of luck.

    While some people may argue against your forum post count, your posts are at least 90% helpful/idea suggesting. +1

    You are for the most part mature, the third person is perfectly fine at casual times, though when in a serious situation, you must not use third person as other people have already said. +0.5

    After reading the "Anything else your would like to state?" part, using third person is a good way against raging, as War does that to people. I hope it doesn't impact the application.

    You are very good at coming up with suggestions that would make this server better.

    I think you would be well suited to the job.
    You are active, friendly and mature. I never see you get angry and you always help people when they need it. You report all Out of Maps and OP spots to me and help me fix it. You post lots of great ideas and suggestions and help in every way you can.
    I don't think your third person too much of an issue.

    Active, mature, and friendly. You fit all the requirements and I believe you are capable of doing a good job as a staff member. I just hope that if you are accepted you don't speak in third person in serious discussions in-game or even in the staff discord. I trust you know when having fun and speaking in the third person is appropriate and when it's not. Overall, +1 from me, Best of Luck.

    What's up Ice_Bear, I wanna wish you good luck as you seem ready for staff in my eyes. You are active, mature, and very helpful to noobs like myself. The 3rd person is alright to an extent and I know you can handle being serious when needed.

    In your original application you said "if required Ice bear will stop speaking in the third person if the position requires this". However, you later edited this out.
    Does this still apply? Are you willing to stop speaking in third person if we consider it to be unfit (because of professionalism) for a staff member? Additionally, will you be able to stay calm even when not being able to speak in third person - you said this helps you against raging.

    Of course, I'm still willing if the position requires. About the third person habit to keep me from raging, it isn't a be all end all and I am confident that I can hold my bearings without it. The third person thing helps so when I do slip which occurs rarely it isn't taken as seriously. For example, "Ice Bear says you are an MG4 noob" This holds a lot less power than "You are an MG4 Noob" I am aware that the "Ice Bear says" holds less seriousness when speaking so in serious situations such as giving a punishment I will drop the act. In fact, my habit is quite similar to yours where you pretend to be a robot (or are idk). A small quirk that in itself is unprofessional but we both understand when and when not to use it.
