New Map for Wild West & WarZ?!

Is comboing still a thing? And will there be like a legacy version of warz? Because I want the old maps in some capacity

 

No, the combat mechanic has been put in from Wild West and not WarZ. This is mainly due to the fact that you are capable of learning the Wild West way, easier than the WarZ way. Although I have tested if myself, and it's not as slow as it would be on Wild West. Accuracy in this combat style is super important, so WarZ players have that over Wild West players. Generally though, the healing system is also based of Wild West with potions and ****. So technically, you always gotta be ontop of your health. Also a legacy server will not be a good idea. WarZ's code will of course not get wiped, so it may return in the future as an event. As of right now, I have a last event for everyone to show who's really the best. So they can leave on a good note ofcofc. Just know that, a lot of people are judging this update based on what we say here. Giving it a try is the best way to actually learn to like a gamemode. As they say, don't judge a book by it's cover.

A few questions.

Are mines going to remain PVP free, because if not, then mining is hardly going to be worth it. I don't see an easy way for beginners to make money.

Is there going to be a fast way to get from town to town, like the train, or are we going to have to go everywhere on horse?

The towns are the safe zones, right?

This is going to be a complete reset of WarZ and Wild West, right? No stat, money, and item transfers, right?

I imagine there will be stable managers like in Wild West, right?

Will there be team bases/houses like in Wild West?

Will old warz texture packs still ... kind of be compatible?

I'm probably going to actually come back to minecraft just for this honestly. I spent years of my life playing warz and to see that its actually having a significant change is baffling. Needless to say I'm quite excited

 

You aren't forced to play the game. If you decide to leave, then leave. But you're doing something completely wrong by throwing this under the bus cause you think you won't "like it". You "speak" on behalf on the "whole community"? You're wrong. You don't. There is other players besides the 6 people who are complaining right now. You're literally taking this on the wrong mindset. "Omg we're losing everything!" Instead of thinking about how much you're actually gaining. This version of WarZ will

1. Bring you a new map.
2. Bring you more players, since it's so user friendly. You'll have even more fun than you do right now. And I bet you, you'll be fighting way more than 5 people with this gamemode.
3. You still have WarZ features. So no, you aren't losing anything.

Literally there is nothing to hate about this update. The one thing you can be upset about is "comboing". But learn to play it dawg, you once joined WarZ not knowing anything about the gamemode. Progressively, the longer you played it, the more you got used to it. Meaning you became a regular player having fun while playing this new gamemode. You don't have to stay, really. But I'll let you know something. You'll regret leaving without atleast giving this a chance. Also forget that we aren't throwing away WarZ. The code is still ours, so are the assets. Maybe later we'll boot her up so we can play for a week or two. Just stop complaining. We're working our asses off so you guys can have fun. Not so you can complain about it being a "****ty" gamemode without even knowing anything about it?? You know as much as we have told you. Wait to test it out. Any other bashing on this gamemode will most likely be ignored.

You can mix the packs off the one we have, but there is one more tier of gun for each type. So you'll have to work it out. But no, they won't. Some items, yah but besides that, not really.

We plan on keeping horses, however with some nerfs to make them closer to the meta of the new WarZ.
I.E.
-Speedies will be less fast (because of the much smaller map)
-Tank horses will either be buffed or be removed
-and normal horses will be changed accordingly to match the new meta

Everybody who looses a fight automatically gets on an alt and starts hacking. How about you guys actually moderate the server you are supposed to.

 

You're wrong, I've played since 2016 brother. But you do understand this is WarZ thats being updated right? WW is what is being shut down. It's up to you to make your judgement but ignoring everything I said is the way you're going about it. If you don't like it so much, leave. Just straight up, you can go play something else.

What do you mean? I got MOD literally today. What's your point? Most of the time there were JMods on. JMods don't deal with bans. Specially on WarZ. WarZ is the server JMods can do the least on. Along with WW.

Paste and beans instant heal hunger, just not health. I guess the two mechanics don't go together. Instant healing with a slower paced gamemode. Since comboing is so fast, the instant healing helps it. But as of right now, since it will be slower, than it wouldn't match up.
