The new map is kinda ugly.

This map was originally intended for Battle Royale and WarZ; the setting is supposed to be shortly (one week) after an apocalyptic event, that's why everything looks intact.
Isn't an intact looking map the exact opposite of ugly?

reason a lot of people liked warz was because it was diverse in terms of the map

many different biomes to go to, different hot spots around the map, etc. it's boring and bland when everything looks the same. I get it's supposed to look apocalyptic or whatever but it's not interesting whatsoever

I mean, does it really matter? Build team spent a lot of time on it, feels like a huge waste of time if we changed it all.

I would like to see different biomes like WarZ, though.

Sounds like a good idea. I think the idea of a breakable map might also work, but there are some pretty obvious flaws so I mean...

You have a pretty one sided view of "apocalypse"; apocalypse doesn't always mean the cliché "broken down buildings and other sh*t). :V That being said, I always built it as thinking it was just a normal situation. I joined the BT when the map was about 60% ready lul and I don't remember there being any emphesis on making it apocalyptic (even though I'm sure it was probably mentioned by Roke at some point). It's a pretty random map all together actually — there's even a warzone somewhere
