Thank you Minecraft! Thank you McBrawl!!

Hello guys, It's been quite a while I didn't logged on this website ^^'
But I needed to share with you a masterpiece that I've found on youtube a few minutes ago.

This man tells us his story and what he personally feels about Minecraft and how it changed and became more and more complexe with all those updates. But the words he uses, the memories. All of these reminds me, my life too.

I've got my first computer at the age of 12. Then a friend from my asked me to play with him to minecraft ( at the time it was just the 1.1 which was just getting released. ) And I fall in love with the game even if the first 5 minutes of the game were the most scariest minutes of my life at the time xD
I ran my first survival map ( I didn't watch actual footage of the game at the time ) I binded my keys, went into what seemed a cave. Then I fall into a 2x2 hole didnt know how to escape from it. Then there were this spooky sounds we all know when we're in a cave ( you must know of what I'm talking about right ? x) Well it scared me as f*ck then I watched behind me and I saw a F*CKING RAINBOW MOB hiting me. I yelled than I alt+f4 the game. Then I breathed and told to my self "Putain j'adore!" which can be translated by Damn I love it.

After that we started with my friend on his private server running with Hamachi ( the king one ) our survival server. Building a wooden house, in the taiga forest I remember, with snow's wall ( yes with creative gm after xD ). Then we went on public's online servers. I was filled with stars in front of this endless creativity.
Then we joined a server which had alot of gamemodes. Hunger games with soups, CTF ( became my favorite one ) and I don't remember. Then one day I went on their website for the time to see my stats my friend asked me than. When I was alone I took the time to go on it and if I'm not wrong it was MinecraftMultiplayers.com which on their main page guess what??? Had a new partner server which had GUNS in Minecraft! Guns do you believe that? ( yes ofc because it was an ad to come on minecraftbrawl and not brawl ).

It was around october 2012 when I joined for the time a server called mcwar.com which was linked with mcbrawl.com ( I discoverd that only a year after calm! ) The point is I never thought that this particular day will be so much important for the next years of my life.

In did, I didn't have to preocupy with my future I just wanted to have fun, enjoy moments I had in front of my computer. I had a lot of troubles in my life at the time, had no friends, alone, parents getting divorced. I wanted to escape that, to have some kind of bubble around me and just to be free for a couple of moments.

Well this bubble was mcwar, I can realize now, how deep these past 6 years had an impact on me. I've met so much players.. Excuse me persons because every persons I could met, speak throw the chat game or teamspeak or even skype. Those moments are well deeply inside me and helped me to become how I am now. All those memories during the games. I've physically past 3 to 4hours per day playing on this game and an half on the server. Because all the community was so friendly, peacefull, full of love! I can't forget those moments when I came at home after school sad. With only one thing in mind, play mcwar to get into my bubble. Well imagine how happy I was when someone just said these couples words: "HEY DANI!! how are you?" from a random guy in the chat. Then I had for habits to join the server 1 or the 7 one. Doing the rainbow parkour in the lobby trying to obtain that minigun ( that I still don't know if we could win it ) Then I saw we could have clans. Teams up with players in the same team and destroy the oponent team. All these afternoons that I past spectating how GSG and HACK were fighting in CTF or TDM or even infect! This inspired me to create my clan too the Meilleur Killer Français Also known as MKF (for the most older one ).

Than I met up a french player known as @mothay who was swearing in french I can't stop laugthing at time. Then after a couple of talks we exchanged our skype and since this day I'm still talking with him, playing with him for these past 6 years. After that we met another french player @twin_otter or @Bearcat29. After that the road trip begin! We started playing together all the time and try to defeat GSG and HACK without any chances you might guess! But it was just a matter of time after years MKF saw his members grow up starting from 1 to 3 than to 10 and after to 30 and at this time the only requirement was to be lvl 31+ and be friendly. Our server was the 7 one. But when we were 5 / 8 connected we always decided to go on server 1 to fight some big fishs x) Than with time on the forum they were polls, threads wondering which clans were the best. One day I clicked on it and was suprised seeing that MKF was in the top 3 of best clans. I was speechless, even if it is just a video game. You can't imagine in the eyes of a 14/15years old boy ( bcs it took 2/3 years since i joined for the time ) how amount of joy it had bring to me.

Even nowadays, I still say to my friends with a lot of fun that MKF was in the top 3
I think I've already lost everyone so I will say this but I don't know after alot of reflexion and recoil about this period. But the reason why I became the "Glitch Finder" surely was because I loved parkour so much that I was addicted to it but also in a way I wanted to help McWar to improve itself to.. It is awkward to tell it but to thanks it for all the good it has given to me, to the person I am, my personnality and the way I am with others. That's also why I wanted to be part of the staff team. It was something that I had to accomplish to thanks it properly to what it had gived to me. Even if I couldn't because of my bad english x) I did contribute in it by creating ( or participing to ) maps like Dday2 or Nuclear ( which I'm really proud with mothay <3 ) and also the forgotten one as Jungle Army and The Brigde. Anyway the thing is:

When I think about Minecraft, I think about McWar and all the past 6 years I used playing to it. His love, his friendly community, his time, his improvements and even more and more! It will always inspire me to be a better man, a better person. Thanks to all this moments that you made unforgettable and that 'll stay forever in a player soul. You were a part of my life that I won't ever regret and forget. When I was broken a couple of months ago. I suddently thought about McWar and all the friends I've done. And when I lying down in my bed, you succeed to steal a smile from me.
So THANK YOU MINECRAFT AND THANK YOU BRAWL FOR EVERYTHING YOU'VE DONE TO ME.

EDIT: I could make it longer and speak about how players others servers, creating maps, server, made me meet so many persons that I could never met without minecraft but I won't because if I do it so I will have for a couple of extra hours but I need to be ready for school! You can’t imagine how it makes me happy to read all your posts It’s been for now a year, I wanted to thank you all. But I just couldn’t.
