    DEAR PEOPLE! HELLO! If you dont understand what this guy wants with a this huge text and sht. well heres a little explanation: Im Saul, and these are my ideas how to improove the server. I worked for servers before and i helped out people with my ideas. I have quite a big history with servers behind me. With 5 years OF MC experience on servers, i know what im talking about, and this is just my pure will of helping this very good server to get on feet again! After reading this text its only your choice if you accept my help, and give me any rewards, but if you do accept let me know and give me some credits for doing it all. like not ingame credits of course.. you got it...* DISCLAIMER: please have at least 120 IQ before reading! THANKS!

    LETS GET RIGHT INTO IT:

    Alright so first of all: After a time the game gets to repeat itself and gets boring! The most common fault in ALL the games of the world, and the biggest one. how to solve it? MAKE THE GAME SMOOTH AS THE CRIMINAL IN MICHAEL JACKSON'S CLIP! Thats the most important thing of all games. just like in this situation: The game can be interesting, amazing, nice texture and 3d models, good gun mechanics, but if you need to struggle to get to the 5th level and you dont get anything.-.. well normally you just go on. Get to lvl 16. you unlock some things, feel good, the game continues. Then you get to lvl 22, and this repeats again. This "I get a new thing on every second level' wouldnt be a bad idea, if the whole leveling and credit system wouldnt be hard as the ***** of Chuck Norris. Look, im serious (and bad at math) Just watch: I did the math and to lvl up to lvl 19, you need to play 21.5 matches with at least 10 kills every match! THATS TERRIBLE! Every match is at least 5 minutes, with not too many players to kill, its VERY HARD:..(módosítva)
    105 minutes JUST TO LEVEL UP from 18 to 19! TOo much! Too much time, too much effort for one gun. I dont get this part. Maybe you wanted to make the player play all day to get the gun, so he stays on the server, invites his friend and all. THis is just not the way to do it! By doing this you make the game repeat and boring as hell after a time! Sure it is intreresting at the few 3-4 HRS, then the player starts to understand whats going on.... In other shooter games, like PUBG you do the same thing as always right? You jump off, kill some people then die. THis is going on in this game too, but minecraft is Not PUBG! And anyone who tried to mimic it is DEAd.... alright maybe not dead but they couldnt do it... So how to we improove the game then? We have the texture, CODlike mechanics and all.. cant the player just play and thats it? NO NO NO! You gotta improove it! Imagine if CS:GO Is still like in 2015... unbalanced things, toxic kids, hard leveling... oh wait.. so you get it? CS:GO almost fell into ruin, some people said it did and they are pretty much right. MInecraft is a creative game tho. Made for 9 year olds to enjoy, but we can do far better can we?! So make leveling up easyer right? Just increase the XP you get so everyone is lvl 60 at the next month huh?? Well yes you should increase the amount of XP the player gets, but not simply doing that!



    So, dont just increase the amount of XP the players get and we are done... Till now the player only got money from killing, planting, capturing ETC: and by repeating this all day the game would get boring anyways. even if we would increase the amount of Xp you get from these things..
    When i first played this game i really enjoyed it,. I won a few matches lost a few.... and then i noticed a thing, that REALLY f*cked my mind up... Im not sure if this is the fault of the developer team, or its planned like this. So When there are many different gamemodes , many different choices to play ETC. Lets see: Capture the flag. YOu need to capture the flag 3 times to win. And then when you win, yay yay we won everyone is happy and the loser team is sad... thats in a normal game isnt it? Well in McWar its not... when you win, you dont get any rewards for winning. Neither for losing. you can only get money, xp, credits for killing. and THIS is a big mistake! like a huge one! After a time, the player comes to realize all this.... you dont even need to capture the flag 3 times, cause if you win wont get anything that the loser team misses out. In EVERY NORMAL AND SUCCESSFUL GAME the WINNER wins SOMETING! and the loser gets NOTHING or a MINIMAL REWARD! here... you dont get anything.... you wasted your time capturing the flag and all. Its sure good for you, cause you get some bonus XP when picking up the flag, but your teammates just get less time to get kill = to get money. When you end the match soon, its bad for your team, they get less rewards, and you dont get anything special.



    *This was an important part and it should be IMMEDIATELY fixed!* Now lets move on to the others: I talked about how slow this whole leveling thing is, and you stuggle to get a weapon, then it turns out you wasted your money and time for a bad weapon. (most of the time) SO we gotta make the whole leveling faster, first, i would recommend to: A) Double, or greatly increase the XP you get from killing, assisting, capturing flags/points ETC! This will make the leveling and the game much smoother. B) Increase the things that can be unlocked with levels. For an example, you should unlock something new EVERY level you achieve. C) Do both. a bit risky, but for a test to see how it would look like i would try. You might think that im saying this all cause i just cant lvl up cause im a noob and all, and i just wanna get OP quickly.... Well everyone wants that right? Now dont get me wrong im really here just to help but these are some important features. These, what i just told you are some basic things that should be fixed and came to my mind. There are plenty more, if you are interested just tell me. Lets move on to the parts where you could ADD something to improove the game.



    GITTIN BETTA



    So lets see, just some basic ideas, nothing special for now, just so you can see what i mean: -add a vote reward system to EVERY GAMEMODE. I see the lobby got a "huge update" and a new voting system. Now thats cool and all, but the server that needs updates the most, McWar got nothing! A good voting reward system would help a LOT. Not only the server would probably get MUCH MORE votes, but the players wouldnt get bored so much. - add a daily reward system to possibly every server, especially McWar. you could add like a daily reward increasing each day you claim till the ultimate reward. An example:



    1. 300Xp 50 Credits 2. 500Xp 100 Credits 3, 1000Xp 250 Credits 4. 1500xp 500 credits 5., 2000XP 1000 credits and a Warchest. Now this leads us to the next idea: adding a reward crate, a warchest. YOu can get one by voting (very rare chance, like every 50 votes or something) Then theres a chance to get one by playing a game, and you are the 1st in your team k/D list. Still theres like a 10% to get the chest there. The warchest can give you some things, like a unlock a random weapon (very rare) or different amounts of credits, XP, or the following new things: A nickname (very very rare) like SOLIDER, or VETERAN or something. you decide on that one. Or SKINS!! Now this leads us to another idea: CONSIDER ADDING A NEW RESOURCE PACK! I know I know... calm down, i know the server is running low on good guys whon could develop an update, not even talking about a new resource pack if you have one already. IM not talking about this pack itself is bad, indeed it is a very good one, nicely represents COD and gives the feeling and all, but it could be much better. a good optimalized resource, with MAYBE 3d gun models and other would be nice.... and then if we are here add skins for weapons. Would look cool, would work out and all. The players would apprichiate new guns too. Thats one more thing why you should extend the resource, cause if you will make leveling easyer, and unlocking something new by every level you need to add more weapons. This means you need to extend the pack. Unlimited opportunities tho....



    About a new texture pack i would also like to see more custom blocks. YOU could make some vanilla block textures smoother, and even then some more complex, and Call Of Duty ISH.....



    Now you may say that you would loose a lot of players with these. Cause the some people dont have a good PC and the pack just couldnt load, and the game would be trash without it. And you are COMPLETELY right! SO lets see the ****ion, totally simple: Add multiple levels of resource. Lemme show you what i mean: When the player joins the game, a panel shows up and asks for the resource pack, like a custom one and you have 3 choices: 1. NO resource packs 2. Basic resource pack. (these pixelizated weapons, basic textures nothing complex) 3. Advanced pack (Complex textures, 3d items, nice custom things, i think you got it what i mean.) all these three would have the explanation to them. So the player understands how it is. This would allow the player to choose, and would make the gaming experience much BETTER!


    Now lets talk about the other game mechanics a bit, like the fair-unfair part. THe players are abusing this game....they can do farmings, plant/defuse bomb, capture point ETC. But the worse, the thing that everyone hates is spawnkilling. Now everyone gets to level up by this and its very profitable for some, and so annoying for the loser part. Heres a simple nerf for it: 1. you can place a sentry to the enemy spawnpoint, like in a 20-30 block radius, depending on map. 2. this is your decision, i would prefer this for a test to see how people would react: you could create a forcefield to separate the attacker and the guy inside. Now you could camp on the edge and wait the guy to come out right? Well when the player exists the base they get 3 seconds so they cant get shot, but they cant shoot either. When this time runs out they can get shot and they are allowed to kill.... With this theres no way for spawnkillers. 3. you also cant call harries strike to a point, or any other destrucktive things in an AOE:... Thats about it for this part of the game. Now lets talk a bit about the new gamemodes and things you should also add, just some sketch ideas to give you a little push to take the next step:



    1. Consider adding some new gamemodes, look up other COD modes. But you dont need to stick to the rules either. As i said minecraft is a creative game, you can create and add things to it... 2, OFC OFC:. new maps... you could also add just a map exclusive , like simple ones like: Two forts, made out of red and blue clay, some cover for players and thats it. Dont need to overcomplicate things, the player can enjoy the game if its good. No need for super fancy maps at all, but when theres a normal map stick to cod. 3. Stick to cod? Try to reword a few maps, cause there are some really UGLY ones that dont fit in the theme. Make an online or ingame voting which maps should be rewordkes. Dont need to make so much new ones, better have 5 maps but GOOD and detailed ones. better than having 3 good and 8 ****ty maps (most builds are really nice on the server there are just a few bas ones.) 4. Make a new matchmaking system. I really get annoyed when i cant browse my loadout at all, cause after a match i have 60 seconds before the game starts. OFC cod is an intense game, running around, shooting non stop but the player NEEDS TO HAVE some time to breathe and organize! SO i would suggest IN mcwar servers, make like 3 joinable games, and a lobby that is always at chill.



    All of these would be separate games, with ALWAYS different gamemodes OFC. LIke dont have 2 dominations at once, Try to config that its always different gamemodes, so the player can be like: "okay so i saw demolition and CTF.... ooh what is this game running: Infection? never heared about it! gonna join" With this the player can experience more gamemodes and he can CHOOSE! All of these ideas have the option to CHOOSE in them. IT gives the feeling to the player that he has some minimal control, and he doesent need just to roll with it.

    This part is wrong. The lobby update introduced the ability to convert tokens into other gamemode currencies at the blacksmith npc in the hub. This also includes war credits. In specific, 50 tokens can be converted into 1250 war credits. Per day a normal player can get 51 tokens for free, that's pretty fair. I cant say much about the rest because I don't play war

    Alright i see the problem. I messed that part up, but still 51 credits is basically one game with 5 kills... so the player can spare 5 kills by voting? you could use this opportunity out MUCH BETTER! Other opinions?

    Messed up 2x. Alright I admit thats pretty fair. But you have to admit, you could use out this rewarding system much better. Also the vote reward display is kinda messy, should consider making it a bit cleaner? Cause when i go /vote, then brawl rewards,then click MCWar no rewards show up. last time i checked in EU timeline at 15:00... It may have changed tho, its hard to understand especially for a new player

    Having a force-field around the spawnpoint is not something that we would do. It is far too game-changing and would be extremely confusing for new and even experienced players. I think a slightly plausible option is to make a certain area in which you can't place sentries, throw harriers etc.

    The main solution I can see being applied is spawnpoints that can move. So if a team is dying too much in a certain spot the spawn will move to a different spot so that they are safe and can push forward a little.
    Another thing I think is a problem is spawns being too narrow. ie. A player spawns and doesn't have a good enough opportunity to hide or escape before they get shot from other players, and if they try to defend themselves and shoot enemies they can only get one or two before they die from someone else.

    Having a force-field would not be good because people will just sit in the forcefield and shoot at people outside the force field untouched.
    Also, what do you mean by 2 dominations at once?
    Taking new gamemodes from Call of Duty and coding them into the game is gonna take awhile. There truly is not an ugly map, it all depends on preference. And as of war, there is no real theme besides maps coming from shooter games. Eventually, those 5 "good and detailed" maps will get boring. When there are only 5 maps in the rotation, everyone will only be able to play those maps and when you log on after awhile to those same maps, it is likely to have that "Ugh not this map again" feeling. You also stated that you only have 60 seconds to change your loudout and its not enough. When the game begins, you are able to change it in using the loadout selector in your inventory or with /class (/loudout, /lo).

    When you stated about how war needs a new texture pack, you can go into the war gamemode forums, go into resource packs, and download one you like from the list of texture creators.

    Also, in Call of Duty, winning the game will give you a match bonus. In war, you do get a match bonus (not sure how much it is).

    I think making the number of credits per kill/assist/etc. higher would not affect many people. For some of the better players, they will get more credits because they get more kills. The amount of time you spend playing varies because some people are able to get 200 kills in an hour and others are able to get 100 kills in an hour. If you look at Call of Duty, people spend a lot of time to level up. This goes the same with war.

    I see you did not read carefully ... hehe. So the forcefield might not be a good idea, but as i said they would get a 3 seconds before being able to shoot or get shot. As i wrote it down. And Im still thinking that the amount of XP you get for killing should increase by time played, just a little tho. 15 XP per kill for a lvl 40? heh... Im not sure about that what you said, cause i made a few tests, and I got 0 kills and 0 deaths at that match, and we won. We got nothing, neither XP, neither credits anything. So i think you might be wrong on that one, gotta check it a few times tho.

    I like the moving spawnpoints idea. They defenetly need to change the harrier, sentry mechanics tho. See you agree with that too...Any other opinions about the post? Something about the ideas what should be added?

    Also by 2 domination matches at once i mean, if you will have the type of lobby i recommended, like a lobby that doesent teleport you away, and you have time to browse anything without a problem, (cause ingame you can do that too but after 2 minutes you will get shot.) And in that lobby you can select between 3 matches, that are always a different kind. So when a player already experienced CTF, and they see a running domination match they cant try that out., And this gives the opportunity to choose which is an important thing. Also when i said 2 dominations, i meant to always try to make it that there are different gamemodes since the player has a bigger vision about the running games and can experience more. Just simply make every gamemode different in every game, so no same ones appear at a time.
