KOTH strategies

    I was watching KOTH last week and noticed the interesting strategy of setting warps at 512 blocks out and coming from the far side of KOTH. It got me to thinking if the following was viable:

    1) Would TNT cannons work that far out? You could fire from a bit past 512, and KOTH is at 400. I know cannons fire a few hundred blocks, and I’m fantasizing about someone firing cannons onto KOTH to clear it out.

    2) Could someone walk onto the platform in KOTH an hour before KOTH, in full prot, gaps, soup, etc, eat a gap, then log out, and log back in shortly after KOTH started? I mean, imagine capping at KOTH and some kid literally appears in front of you out of nowhere all gapped and protted up and kills you? This has gotta be possible. It’s the stealth attack no one could defend against.

    And an entire team could do that- log out, then a few minutes after KOTH starts they chill in the lobby and all simultaneously log in, already gapped up on the KOTH platform.

    1. TNT wouldn't damage the KOTH, but in terms of explosion power, I'd say that's a possible distance - Not going to lie, would like to see someone try it. Would be costly though; the TNT needed to get the explosion power to fire that far...
    2. As soon as you login, the armour would be capped. The gaps would work though.

    No one just can't kill us in few seconds in p4, not even a whole team. Want a real koth strategy? Play as a team, communicate, all go voice chat discord and one guy takes a lead. Tnt is not gonna make you guys win the koth, just saying.
