Is your Minecraft account secured and migrated? - Yes, my account is secure and migrated.

How old are you? - 19
What time zone are you in? - MST
Are you multilingual? Can you speak multiple languages? - I am fluent in English and Google Translator. If Google fails me, I have friends that speak Spanish, French, and German fluently that I can always ask as well.


What is your experience and knowledge of Brawl? - I played most of the game modes on McPvP until fall of 2013. I ended up taking a hiatus from Minecraft altogether. After a six year “off-and-on relationship” with Minecraft, I came back last summer. After returning to CTF, I became involved with a couple different CTF teams, which led me to the decision to create and lead Olympus. Recently, I was promoted to Player Pool Match (PPM) Host, which has allowed me to interact with the community more.

What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? - I do not have any prior experience moderating servers. Both of my IRL jobs correlate well to that of a moderator and the responsibilities thereof. As a lifeguard, I am responsible for everybody that steps into the pool building. I monitor the patrons and ensure their safety. Since I work for my university, I am involved with setting up events such as swim meets, water polo tournaments, and any campus events involving the pool. The duties and responsibilities of lifeguard and swimming instructor are closely related. However, when I am teaching lessons, I need to be more aware of where and what each child is doing at all times. I teach basic swimming skills in the lower levels, and steadily work to build on those skills as the children progress. As they get older, I work to teach them the proper techniques and correct them as needed. In certain situations, I am required to utilize my training to quickly assess the severity of these situations and act accordingly. Ultimately, the skills and responsibilities that I have learned would translate well into the responsibilities of JMOD. Although I lack experience moderating servers, I am very eager and willing to learn how to best do it.

Why do you want to become a moderator on Brawl? - Applying for this position has been an idea I have been toying with for a while, so when the opportunity was presented to me, I decided to go for it. Being a moderator would put me in a position that would allow me to help the community more with PPMs and various other issues. Being actively involved in the community and getting to know other players better would also be a huge bonus for me.


Have you ever used a hacked client before? - I have never used a hacked client before.
Have you ever been punished (banned, kicked, muted, etc) legitimately on a public Minecraft server? If so, why? - Yes. I let my emotions get the best of me during those situations, and the punishments were deserved. I have been working to keep my emotions in-check, and I have been free of punishment for two months.


What do you consider your greatest strength? - My greatest strength is my passion for the people and things I care about. As Leslie Knope says, “If I seem too passionate, it’s because I care. If I come on strong, it’s because I feel strongly. If I push too hard, it’s because things aren’t moving fast enough.” The passion I have would allow me to succeed as a moderator in that I can use it to help others, myself, and make the community better.

What do you consider your greatest weakness? - While being passionate is my greatest strength, I might also consider it one of my greatest weaknesses in that sometimes I can become too passionate, leading me to act before thinking. Hence, the warnings on my account. Recently, I have made the decision to become more involved within the community. As I have become more active in various roles in the CTF community, I have had to mature and keep a level head.

What is the date of the last application you submitted? - Well, I guess that would be today.

Anything else you would like to state? - I like to joke around and have a good time while I am doing something. That being said and all jokes aside, I take my responsibilities very seriously.

I try to get straight to the point and not beat around the bush too much, which is why my application is pretty straightforward. While it may be short compared to others, I believe that actions speak louder than words.

I do not have an incredibly high amount of posting on the forums; however I am very active and check them at least once a day if not multiple times.
