The new way of banning players

    With my experience at MunchyMC there was a system when a player gets banned they get sent to a server where they are permanently there until either buy an unban or earn it. When I mean by earn it is by say mining a certain number of blocks say 20000 blocks to earn your unban. Regulars players can join the server which is called purgatory they can mess with them preventing them from earning their unban. I’d say bans over a year old are eligible for an unban depending on their punishment.

    I know it sounds like copying but create the Brawl version of the banning system I suggested.

    im not sure that more servers to host is exactly what brawl financially needs

    If you're going to unban people for doing busy work, might as well make it useful for the server (making a building, etc) instead of just eating up resources... also I can guarantee that stuff like this can and will be automated.

    The owner chickenputty was on Build 3 today testing it on 1.13.2 and I asked him how much he pays he currently pays $500/mo he will probably pay more if he does create purgatory.

    Purgatory is a place to earn your unban players should have to mine 25000 blocks at least, bans at least 1 year old depending on their punishment they will be eligible for a free unban.

    Regular players can join purgatory as a normal player they will have the ability to troll them with abilities coded by @redslime you can also experience purgatory with Adventure mode you will be simulated as a banned player and be treated like one

    And all the stuff is automated once the banned player has reached their goal they can go back to the main lobby and continue playing. They can speed this up by buying the unban but it’s their choice.

    I understand he'll pay more with another server, that's how servers work. my point is that the server has been removing servers for a very long time and paying for another one probably isnt something theyre looking to do

    The unbanning of players should be based on whether or not they have matured and/or learned from their mistakes which got them banned in the first place. Not based on how many blocks they can break in a videogame. The appeals system is fine as it is.

    Maybe they can make a server where every hacker goes. There we can make that other people can join and bases on there rank they can use a hack agaisnt they hackers so te hackers can feel how it feels to play with a hacker

    Thats where the hackers would go Purgatory is a place for the hackers to earn their unban. Regular non-banned players can join Purgatory and mess with the banned players with troll tools. Regular players can also go into Adventure mode and experience Purgatory themselves being able to get trolled and what not.

    No the Purgatory is a place were the prank i want to make a server were other people get hacks on rank like fly,kilauro,etc. En the hackers need to be online a day or two (playing not byeng afk) so they can feel how it feels to be with hackers. it wil be like kitbrawl only with hacks for normal people

    If staff spend hours trying to catch gc users I don't think they would like to have them go to "purgatory" and be back within a week. Kinda defeats the purpose. With the current appeal system, a banned player can either attempt to prove they were not hacking, or wait until they have matured and appeal.

    It isn't necessarily stupid but it can be useful to make the hackers earn their unban by like I said mining say 25000 blocks to get their unban instead of having to pay for one they can put the work into it and earn it.. Yes it may take a while but it does sound like it will work if @redslime codes the plugins for the new server.
