Idea Ban Reset

    Brawl needs a ban reset now, The server would become active again and they can get more money of the people buying there ranks. I know none staff wont ever do a ban reset cause this server is **** and they are too lazy to moderate. Well brawl needs a ban reset.

    *BUT*

    I am in favor of a gradually increasing unban fee and no perm ban. I think the unban fee shoul be $20 times your cumulative number of bans.

    Therefore if you want to get banned 5 times and come back you can give the server $100

    There are people with countless amounts of alts (NFA - not hard to get) and all they do is hack on servers for fun until they get banned. The cumulative unban fee won’t do any good for the server with these types of players amongst us. That is what perm bans are for, which you can’t pay to get out of.

    Very coincidental of you to suggest this idea right after you get perm banned...

    Last time we did a ban reset, I spent 12 hours a day for the first 2 weeks. The first week I banned 450 players, which is enormous compared to the amount of hackers we usually get. It isn't about us being lazy, it is about it being logistically impossible to do so properly - for it to be feasible, we'd need more staff, which requires the server to grow, which would cause there to be more hackers on a ban reset, which would mean we'd need even more staff. Not even Hypixel could pull it off properly.

    Not to mention - last time, most permbanned players ended up getting themselves banned again. I don't know of many people at all who got unbanned from the last ban wipe and started playing the game without hacking again. It was ineffective, and increased the staff team's workload incredibly.

    It was kinda fun banning them after the ban reset ngl, some staff put more effort than others and its noticeable. But there are also those case, specifically on WarZ, where people were forced to give an account up. I know a few :frowning: which is sad, a ban reset COULD benefit the server but at the end of the day it could also hurt the server.

    The warz community isn't going to magically learn its lesson and not hack after a ban reset. It's still gonna be the same cheating morons who get themselves banned again and it'll be time wasted for the staff team, banning people that blew their chance within a few hours/days/weeks.

    Active with cheaters? The people who got banned, were banned for cheating so they of course did something wrong to be in that position. Not to forget that a ban reset also unbans all PERMBANS, meaning people who DOX and DDos for a higher standing in an online community, would get unbanned. I would be down for a reset if it was all unbans except for those, but even then, you're just being too lenient. If it were to happen, lets say. They should 100% lower the 3+ to 2+ because, after you mess up your first chance, you definitely don't deserve a second.

    The players who are permabanned are permabanned for a reason. If you hack once, I can still understand, but you will be banned. However, if you're stupid enough to hack after that first ban, you can blame yourself. The first ban should be more than an indicator for you that you shouldn't hack, yet you still do it.

    Then what's there to tell us that you won't hack again if there's a ban reset? Absolutely nothing, all of these players were given two chances, all of them didn't use them properly.

    You recently came back from a permanent ban, what did you do? Hack, kind of proves my point doesn't it?
