    Today, I tried getting into Raid. I got pretty far only to die because I thought I could do /random again, but no, I was informed that I have to wait another 11 hours. No big deal, I'll just go through the pvp zone. The thing is, there's sweaty tryhards waiting for full irons to go through so they can kill them for stat boosts. And that's exactly what happened to me. I had just gotten a full set of diamond armor just to be instantly killed like that.

    Please decrease the timer to an hour or so, there's really no reason to have it at 11 hours, it really just limits the players.

    What time would you want it set at if not 12 hours? I am perfectly fine with 12 hours as is tbh, but of course players could like it better at say 8 or 6 hours?

    Personally I would like it at a time where newer players (such as myself) to be able to go back to spawn, grab some food, and then teleport away so they don't have to go through the pvp zone. What if they're trying to use their ender chest cause they forgot something in it? They would have to teleport back to spawn to get it. But wait, you have to wait another 11 hours to get away from spawn. The only truly safe alternative is to go through the zone when nobody is online (if you have the cooldown).

    Run out of spawn when no one sees you, back in and then warp inside of spawn. The easiest way to leave safe.

    There's no reason to go to spawn, unless you want to PvP, really, so I don't think we need to change /random. People leaving spawn also encourages more PvP.

    I’m against this because it gives and easy escape option from spawn. When there is a lot of people you can’t leave spawn without being spotted. That promotes more pvp.

    The /random is designed to help new players and that what it does imo.

    The problem is a lot of players do not understand raid before they do /random

    That is what will be being worked on

    Another way to avoid is going below this map amd warping, along with going to another side of spawn and warping out

    I’m gonna say yes, for a couple of reasons.

    First, I’m gonna argue that a full dia going after a 1 minute noob is NOT PvP. I have absolutely 0 PvP skill and already have killed randies near spawn on this map. Crap can happen, even with a /random, and you could get mob killed after losing hunger. Also it’s still possible to encounter another player even within 500 blocks of spawn.

    And I do respect PvP, but the best and most sporting/fair PvP fights are usually pre-agreed and balanced. 2-shotting nakeds with a sword (or single shot with a bow) as they cross the PvP boundary isn’t sporting to me.

    I think the compromise is that /random works only if someone has no enchanted items in their inventory or equipped, and does not work when someone has enchant. This will accomplish 3 things- First, it forces the players with enchant at spawn to have the risk of a PvP fight; Second, it gives noobs a chance to actually play the gamemode a bit before getting smeared (especially if they had bad luck and died right away); and Third it encourages spawn trading if folks can warp away with their goods (as long as they aren’t enchanted).

    Just a thought.

    If thats the only pvp, I'd accept it at this stage.

    It also helps new players learn. Sheilding them forever is no good. ( I understand its not forever but.. you know what I mean)

    I stil lse a few people begging for items becuase they don't understand that they have to mine and grind to survive. Some people just have to learn the hard way I guess.

    cough cough so ehem you found out about us... don't tell anyone else about our noob killing organization ok? -.-

    And that's the thing my mans if the ./random timer was short there would be like no way to find players to fight for gear, It's already extremely hard to find a geared player who is not scared to a point where they can go out btw I recommend you go to a direction of spawn other than S, This is where the main pvp goes on and if you want to avoid it to warp, travel whatever you may need I recommend going E or W of spawn.

    Did you run out in front of everyone?

    I mean I barely ever die when I run out of spawn wanting to warp, mainly because where I run out to there's no one around, but on the reduced timing I would maybe say reduce it by a hour or two but I personally don't really worry about the /random command
