What is your in-game name? - My in-game name is auromelt.
Is your Minecraft account secured and migrated? - Yes, it is both secured and migrated.

How old are you? - I am currently 16 years old.
What time zone are you in? - I am in SGT (Singapore General Time), which is GMT+8/UTC+8.
Are you multilingual? Can you speak multiple languages? - Yes, I am bilingual. I can speak both English and Mandarin fluently and I am able to write them as well.

What is your experience and knowledge of Brawl? - I first joined Brawl around 4+ years ago, mainly playing on CTF because I thought the gamemode was very fun and challenging. Interested in wanting to get better I would play CTF very often, slowly becoming better at the game as I kept working on my in-game PvP skills and learnt more about the various nuances of the game.

In 2016, I joined my first official CTF team and was dismayed to find that I was not able to participate in many matches or practises due to my unique timezone. As a result of my odd timezone and mediocre skills at that point of time, most teams denied me and I did not end up becoming an immensely active match player. In the years leading up to 2019 I have created and led a few teams myself, joined and left others and become more aware of the CTF team scene overall. Despite such a rocky start, I ended up finding a team that suited me and my timezone. I am currently a merc for 4 teams and a member of Delta Force. I also now participate quite actively in PPMs.

Other than being involved in the team scene, I have stepped up to a few positions in the CTF community. Albeit small roles in the community, I am currently both a Writer, Analyst and Recorder for CMS (CTF Match Spotlight) and a PPM host. I have written 3 articles for the recent CMS publications and have hosted and assisted in hosting a few PPMs (Player Pool Matches) as well. Being a writer of CMS was initially a challenge as I was not familiar with writing match summaries or articles, but with the help of other CMS members I managed to get the hang of it in time. Becoming a PPM host was a similar challenge and it too required some getting used to as when I joined CMS.

I also joined CTF Academy as a coach in 2019. It was an initiative started by dragoarg in order to help new players. I also helped to contribute ideas on how to aid new players on their CTF journey. Even though it fell off after a month or so, I would like to say that I have learnt a lot about the troubles that new players face when they are trying to pick up CTF as a game.

Additionally, I have also made a lot of friends along my journey and they have enhanced my Brawl experience in helping me broaden my perspectives as a person and teaching me on how I should interact with others.

What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? - I was a helper on a previous server a few years back, moderating the in-game chats and helping to add to certain cosmetic features such as adding better lobbies for players to roam around on. I also had to moderate the Discord chats and provide ideas and input that would enable the server to grow. I do not have much experience in recognising hackers though, as I did not get to experience any on the server.
Why do you want to become a moderator on Brawl? - First of all, I would like to start off by saying that from personal experience, there is a shortage of staff from my region or timezone. I would want to assist in somewhat relieving the burdens placed on them, helping to moderate the chat and hackers when they may not be available (as I'm on CTF very often). I would like to help Brawl in any way I can, and I am comfortable with doing anything I can to help the staff team (moderating in-game chats, providing ideas, detecting hackers). I would also like to help the game become more noob-friendly, so as to help retain some of the new players that are trying out the game for the first time, or trying to get better at the game given that CTF is a game that has an extremely high skill ceiling.

I also believe I have certain ideas that could contribute to the development of Brawl as a whole, or just assist CTF gameplay. Previously I have posted a few class ideas that I think have the ability to spice up CTF gameplay and even though they never really took off, I did have lots of fun creating the classes and the certain gameplay mechanics. I feel like I will have lots of fun brainstorming new things for CTF and will generally have lots of fun helping out the staff team in any way I can.

In short, I would like to help players of my timezone by being there to ban hackers or to moderate when no other mod is around, and I would also like to aid the staff team in any way I can.

Have you ever used a hacked client before? - No, I have never used a hacked client before.
Have you ever been punished (banned, kicked, muted, etc) legitimately on a public Minecraft server? If so, why? - I've been falsely autobanned about 4 times and that's about it.

What do you consider your greatest strength? - I would like to say that my greatest strengths would be my friendliness and flexibility. I pride myself on not being a part of any drama whatsoever and I enjoy making friends with many people from various backgrounds. I find it easy to talk to almost everybody, and I am also able to view things from different perspectives, leading me to gather a more holistic view of the situation. I would also like to say that my flexibility is considered a great strength as I will not crumble under immense pressure and always try my best to contribute no matter the circumstances.
What do you consider your greatest weakness? - I would say that my greatest weakness would be my feeling of insecurity. Even if I have an idea that I'm rather excited about, I may feel hesitant in sharing it with people I am unfamiliar with. However, in spite of this, I believe once I get familiar with the environment and the people, it will be much easier for me to propose ideas without fear of backlash or negativity.
Which Brawl server(s) are you most active on? - I am the most active on CTF.

How many Brawl staff applications have you made in the past? - 0. This is my first staff application!

Do you have Discord? Yes, I have Discord. It is currently Aowoko#4560.

Anything else you would like to state? - I believe that my forums activity is not the best, mainly because I do not see a reason to reply most of the time, but I am quite active on Discord (at least for my timezone). If I am required to do so, I will try my best to be active on the forums should I need to post a thread or work on a specific idea. Even though I have no experience in identifying hackers, I felt it wouldn't hurt to try anyways, and like in my previous experiences in CMS and being a PPM host, I will definitely try my best to learn the ropes. I believe that working together is a big part of being staff, and I too believe strongly in collaborating and working together as a team to achieve a combined goal, and I think I am a good team player and can help greatly in those areas.

I personally do not think I will get accepted and if I get denied, I will try to keep improving myself should I wish to make another staff application. If I get accepted, I am looking forward to meeting new people and growing as a member of staff. That's mostly all for my staff application.

Thank you very much, Cardona! I do tend to be easygoing at times but I believe I can step up and be professional when I need to be.
