What is your experience and knowledge of Brawl? - I began playing this server (specifically CTF) in late 2014, on an old account that was sadly terminated due to complications with security. I have learned what I believe to be a large and possibly concerning amount of information about CTF's players, maps, and mechanics. While I know I'm known for have a sarcastically toxic nature, I do utilize this knowledge to be helpful when someone is genuinely confused or curious.
What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? - I do not have any experience as a moderator. However, as I stated above, I am well aware of the traits and qualifications of one.
Why do you want to become a moderator on Brawl? - I have seen this server change a number of things over the last 5 years; from the MCPVP migration to simple class tweaks, I've been there for most of it. It is my opinion that, while these changes are major in their own respect, they were driven by players that wanted to change this server for the better. Sadly, as I'm sure 100% of the team reading this can confirm, most players on CTF (or any pvp based gamemode/server) tend to not have such a progressive nature. Chat on any given day will inevitably house several disputes about issues with the server, or toxic fights against certain players driven by accusations or toxic gameplay. Casual CTF has become casual to a point that the majority of players throughout the day do not play objectively, at least consistently. While I see no problem with this, I believe it is the source for complaints by new players. I'm sure every staff member is aware of the condition of CTF, but I do not recall any point in time where it has been explained to this degree by a moderator in-game; I want new players to be aware of the server's nature before they get farmed and log off because "this server is broken," or "nobody is playing the game."

Have you ever used a hacked client before? - Yes. Around late 2015 I was actually banned on here for using a client, but have since not touched hacked clients. Some of us have that phase where we throw away merit for just a little self-enjoyment, and the long-term ramifications are often overlooked.
Have you ever been punished (banned, kicked, muted, etc) legitimately on a public Minecraft server? If so, why? - The above instance is my only legitimate punishment on a public server.

What do you consider your greatest strength? - I can take a joke. Not to call anyone out, but there are some instances where a mute or ban could have been handled differently with a basic sense of humor.
What do you consider your greatest weakness? - The CTF community doesn't exactly revere me as a saint; I have said countless inappropriate and toxic/offensive messages in-game, one of which finally got me banned. Forleb pp jokes aside, I believe I display my true colors quite prominently in forum threads, where the constructive players actually have grounds to converse and collaborate on. I can make the change, but effectively it will depend on how much you trust me; Like I said, people who haven't used this website would probably downvote² this application without reading my posts. It's worth noting most of my forum activity belongs to @GoodJobBud .

Anything else you would like to state? - As a high school student, my schedule will be quite static minus the summer months. I can usually be on the minecraft server around 6pm-11pm CST Monday through Friday, and I'm available most of the day Saturday & Sunday. I am always available on Discord and the Brawl website... while I'm awake, of course.

At the moment, I am trying to give as much constructive input on discussions about CTF's classes and rules. This week in particular had a spike in said conversations, and my goal is to further advocate chats about the mechanics of CTF. Promotion would place me in a position to both contribute to said chats and discuss directly with the staff team about them, i.e. what to take from a post/message.

 

Chat offenses tend to pop up when there are other staff members online by coincidence, so I have a habit of not reporting them. Many thanks for your feedback.
