    What is your in-game name? - 915
    Is your Minecraft account secured and migrated? - Yes

    How old are you? - 19
    What time zone are you in? - EST
    Are you multilingual? Can you speak multiple languages? - English, and a decent amount of French.

    What is your experience and knowledge of Brawl? - I first discovered Brawl when MCPvP shut down and CTF was being migrated over - I played War during that time. After CTF was back online, I continued playing, not talking much or really knowing anyone. Drag finally recruited me to The Blue Flaggers, my first real team. I stayed there for two amazing years, where I got some of my best friends and played many matches. I joined CTF Match Spotlight and have streamed a few matches, as well as played quite many PPMs. Not too many months ago, I joined The Crusaders. Aside from CTF, I’ve also played Party a few times, and spent time on Build.

    What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? - I was a mod/developer on this really tiny server several years ago. I was building a custom game mode (I think loosely based on HG) for the owner, and being the only staff, I also moderated anyone who came online to see what it was about. The server didn’t stay online but for a few months before the guy decided to shut it down.

    Why do you want to become a moderator on Brawl? - I want to help improve CTF, firstly by working to eliminate hackers that ruin the experience for those legitimate individuals. Being able to spectate in third person would be very helpful to that end and understanding what really happens in an encounter, as the first person POV can be somewhat limiting. I also would like to contribute more to the ideas to improve CTF. I’m pretty creative and like to take unorthodox approaches to things, and because I’ve coded in Bukkit before, I almost always evaluate an idea for how realistic/feasible it is before suggesting it.

    Have you ever used a hacked client before? - Never
    Have you ever been punished (banned, kicked, muted, etc) legitimately on a public Minecraft server? If so, why? - Never

    What do you consider your greatest strength? - I think before I speak. I’m rational and level-headed and only say something after careful deliberation and if I feel it needs to be said. Before making decisions, I seek to understand all points of view and do my best to arrive at objective outcomes. I like to think I’m good at solving problems.

    What do you consider your greatest weakness? - I think too much and rarely speak. I can be pretty shy in group settings and don’t tend to talk much. This can be seen of course in the minimal amount of forum posts that I have (although I do know how to use the forums) or my rare usage of /a ingame. I do tend to talk more on Discord, and can almost be considered talkative in private messages. Despite my shyness, I try to contribute to ideas I feel strongly about.

    Anything else you would like to state? - I’m decent at data analysis with tools like Python, so I would also be good at things like collecting/compiling player feedback on in-game changes. And I could try prototyping class ideas too.

    Hey 915!

    I'm going to give you my feedback in a couple of sections:

    Application
    No blatant grammar errors, seems to be constructed well, and looks like you put some effort into it. I see no reason to deduct points here. +1

    In-Game Activity
    You're involved with CMS and the competitive scene which is a plus for me. The only negative I can see is that I do not see you on casual or PPMs incredibly often, however you are relatively active. I do happen to know that you are attending university currently, so I'm going to overlook that. As long as you are active when you can be, that's all I can ask for. +1

    Forum Activity
    This is a negative for me. You do not appear to be active very much on the forums at all. Forum activity is where you should be giving a majority of your feedback on others' ideas as well as sharing your own. Forum posting isn't everything, especially now that most of the discussion is happening on Discord, however it is still important for staff members to be relatively active on the forums. -1

    Discord Activity
    I see you on Discord very often. Where you lack in forum posting you have made up for it in Discord activity. I've seen you first hand be involved in constructive discussions on Discord. +1

    Maturity
    For this section all I need to do is pull up your discipline history and get a good look at what kind of person you are

    You are a very mature person. Your only punishments are three false auto bans. Besides this, I know you to be very calm and level headed; exactly what a staff member should be. +1

    Overall
    The only place I feel you can improve on is your forum activity, but even that is pretty minor. I think you are a great candidate for the staff team and would love to have you onboard. +1 Good luck!

    Hello 915!

    It's pretty refreshing to see your application, to be honest, as it is written in a very clean and concise manner which I very much like.

    You have proven yourself to be extremely mature and rational in many situations, as well as helpful and innovative in proposing new ideas!

    I think you're one of the best applicants for JMod out there, and I'd love to see you on the staff team with us. I look forward to reading and seeing more of your refreshing ideas.

    Hey 915, here's my breakdown:

    In-Game/Discord Activity: Activity in-game is good, you are active on casual CTF and within the competitive scene. On Discord you do a good job of jumping into discussions and leaving your feedback which I like. My criticism is that I would like to see more consistent activity when it comes to Discord. You noted you do not like to talk much which I understand, but looking at your Discord history you have 1-2 days of fantastic contributions and then nothing for a week or two. I know it is not always easy to do so, it is just something I would personally like to see. +.5

    Application: Very well done. I can tell you spent a good amount of time formulating your application and it shows. +1

    Maturity: As Spades already noted your player history is clean so you definitely exemplify maturity in that aspect. No issues here at all. +1

    Forums: Activity is not consistent and you do not have a whole lot of posts either. I do not personally mind if an applicant's forums activity is a little sparse, but I think you definitely need to work on this because, besides Discord, this is the best medium for all players to engage in discussions and you need to have a solid presence here. -1

    Overall my vote at the moment will be a +0 for the reasons I stated above. I think you are a very solid applicant as it stands right now and you have a very good chance of getting a chance to prove that. With that being said, my personal opinion is that I would like to see more consistency within Discord discussions and on the forums before giving you my +1.

    Feedback from me: (Using Foodcourt's layout)
    In-Game/Discord Activity: I see you in game alot, you are non toxic, and play by the game. On discord, I agree with Foodcourt that there are some times when a big discussion occurs, that you have alot of ideas and contribute, but then regress into silence. Overall +.75 in this category

    Application: Short and simple, good application :smile: +1

    Forums: upload_2020-2-11_17-41-15.png I see that there has been alot more activity on a big matter/dispute in the current state of the game. However, I think that this can still be improved so +.5 on this


    Overall, I believe you are a strong candidate for the position and wish you the best of luck moving forward
