Accepted Fenguin's JMOD Applicaiton

You have a history of teaming with banned/toxic players, and you aren't that mature yourself. Just last month you were ridealonged and muted for disrespect. The fact you're friends and play with Tanner is a -1 on it's own. Separate yourself from toxic/malicious players and go a couple months without any warnings and you'd be fine.

To add, you constantly push to make content for warz and getting it revived. One of few who actually care about warz.

 

Idk how y'all are gonna give +/- 1 but Fenguin pushes content out and it isn't just ****. He understands the game and seems to have knowledge on if somebody appears to be cheating.

Hey @Fenguding (which is your in-game name not to be confused with Fenguin.) From what I know you are an activate player who supports the community by recording in the MEDIA Team. I know you as a very positive person with usually a growth mindset that you in a creative way bring up ideas for the WarZ community.

On the other hand you do have that one mute which is your responsibility which plays a huge role in staff maturity. You already explained it so no need to worry.

Just to clarify, could you explain in a more precise way about your previous staff positions? You wrote, “Not much, I was mod on a couple obscure practice servers back in the day.”

Also, as you may know a lot of people resigned, how would you fight for the community’s survival?

What would you bring to the staff team and would you be prepared for staff meetings and event planning?

Fenguin you are one of the most active players out there right now, also you are very mature. We had our deeptalks in discord and I can laugh with you about everything but can still get serious with you at any time.

You have alot of ideas for warz which you already told me some.
In my oppinion you deserve JMod more than anyone else who is applying right now. 1+ from me.

 

+1 Positive Player in our community. Would be a great addition to the staff team. In almost every situation Fenguin is unbiased towards me, and any other player. Especially seeing as he's a very reasonable and good person.

 

Thank you for explaining, this gave me a clear view. You seem to have a positive mindset and could really be helpful towards the staff team. We have lost a lot of staff and you seem to be someone who wants to step in and fix the situation.

You've made it very clear to me prior to applying that you wanted to help the community, you've also constantly uploaded content over the years showing your interest in the gamemode. You tick all of my boxes for an applicant, only slip up would be your mute from over a month ago. I'll continue to watch how you perform across all platforms for a week or so and then make my decision.

A mute is definitely not a minuscule thing, especially if what you said was disrespectful enough to warrant a mute without any previous warning. This was less than a month ago as well, and if you lost your temper enough to get yourself muted I don't believe, as of right now, that you could be trusted with a staff rank should you lose your temper again. Everybody's human, but self-control is important.

 

After talking and playing with you yesterday I now know quite a bit more about how you are in-game and as an individual. I'd personally like to see you on the staff team as you meet my criteria.

You're helpful ingame and active ingame even that im pretty sure you're from the US, so our timezone doesn't match, but still i see you alot ingame. I think it also be good to have one on the warz staff team there is aldready on the media team, so you would know how to boost warz on youtube with media content. Its a +1 from

Hey Fenguin!

After thoroughly reading through your application and looking at your discipline history, it has brought up a few concerns for me. Not only do you have a mute for disrespect within the last few months, you were also temp banned (kicked for 7 days) due to major bug abuse. I personally look for players who know right from wrong, and I feel that you have changed since then, but it still worries me as I do not know the context of the mute. You also stated in your application your experience moderating other servers but you didn't include many details and I am curious what your best takeaway from the experience was.

I know that its not like we have many people on WarZ with a clean record but I still find it necessary to be thorough with looking into candidates.
