It's an advantage in really many ways. I have said it alot of times and giving reasons why.

 

It's a HUGE ****ing deal to be able to pan around your player model like that if that's what you're referring to mate

You can much more easily peek corners and have a massive advantage in being able to spot a player without them thinking they've spotted you

 

If 360 perspective is a unallowed mod things like optifine and all should be banable too. Why? Optifine has a advantage that vanilla players don't have. 360 perspecitve is a helping mod but it doesn't give you world changing advantages in fights or whatever just like armor status and so on...
My opinion on this.

more so than other mods included in every client?
ie Minimap, armor status, permanent hitboxes etc. (the answer is no)

You can peek corners extremely easily, you can much more easily check for flanks during kites and things, plus I'm pretty sure with 1.8 on Brawl you can use it for cheeky block-glitch-views for chests and the like which is just not going to be fair is it?

 

Bug using leads to a ban anyways. Doesn't matter if its with 360 perspective or without. I still dont think peeking or whatelse you mentioned is that big of a advantage that it gets banable. You need a proof that you tracked the base in nearly all of ur raids anyways so that would be no problem.

 

This is just a so dumb rule and disallowed mod and staff can't explain how it is any near advantage.

It's a helpful mod just like optifine, minimap, armor status and so on. All of those mods are op in some way so if you ban this you have to ban all because all of them have advantages in different aspects of the game. And I mean wow you can see your character from where you want to and the head doesn't move while you do that. Dont think thats too op.

 

Might as well just ban anyone using vanilla MC launcher for pressing f5 or switching the key to F or something

EDIT: + u cant even change the direction ur facing when you're using 360 perspective and f5 u can change the direction you're facing so ban for using f5 instead i guess

 

Just press f5, I don't understand why you're enabling illegal modifications?

HUD Status mods and a performance based mod like Optifine are not comparable to an alt-look

 

f5 is more versatile than 360 besides the fact that u have to press it twice to go back to normal pov. it doesnt change much to gameplay.

 

so then use f5 and don't use illegal modifications. i don't understand why this is a discussion.

 

360 degrees modification wasnt a big deal until it was added into rules without any announcement. If f5 is better than 360 for multiple people, why should it be counted as an illegal modification
