What is your experience and knowledge of Brawl? - I’ve been playing Brawl, specifically WarZ, since late 2014. I’ve been around since when WarZ was averaging player counts in the hundreds, right before the new WarZ map was released. In late 2016, I began associating myself with many other WarZ staff members, helping to get hackers banned and giving my opinion about the game itself. Since then I have worked with the staff team on several occasions to gather opinions on certain aspects of WarZ and to bring about changes to the gamemode.


What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? - For around 2-3 years I was senior moderator for a popular WarZ practice server. I was mainly responsible for managing bans and hosting events.


On September 14, 2019 I was accepted as a Junior Moderator on Brawl, later being promoted to Global Moderator in November. I resigned from this position in March.

In Sept. 2019, I was accepted to Brawl’s staff team where I served as a moderator for five months. During this time I assisted in reviving WarZ’s playercount under the management of Ritzy and in coordination with the greater WarZ staff team. Throughout this revival period we managed to bring about several map changes, gameplay additions and modifications, and ultimately bring back a relatively high, stable playercount (in comparison to recent years) for a rather long duration of time.

In May 2020, I was given the builder rank on Brawl’s test servers to assist with the construction of the new WarZ map.


Why do you want to become a moderator on Brawl? - I want to directly contribute to improving upon the network, with a particular focus on WarZ. I believe that many of Brawl’s gamemodes still have the potential to thrive in the current landscape of minecraft. I have recently been working with the current WarZ staff team on several projects focused on revitalizing the gamemode, giving both old and new players a reason to play. I believe that I can be a valuable asset in facilitating improvements to the gamemode in this respect.


The intent of these efforts is to increase the population of the server to a substantially greater amount of players, new and old. With an increase in players, however, an increase in cheaters is a near-certainty, especially given the presence of warz-specific hacked clients. If the necessity comes, I can assist in detecting these clients and issue punishments with confidence.


Have you ever used a hacked client before? - Yes


Have you ever been punished (banned, kicked, muted, etc) legitimately on a public Minecraft server? If so, why? - Yes, I have been ridealonged and warned for grapple glitching on several occasions from 2017 to 2018.


What do you consider your greatest strength? - I would consider my knowledge of the gamemode and familiarity with the community to be my greatest strengths. I am also very familiar with cheats used on the server and various community opinions on certain issues.


What do you consider your greatest weakness? - While my activity on brawl has remained relatively consistent, over the past few months my activity on WarZ has declined by a noticeable amount. This is mainly due to the recent decline in players after the release of WarZ’s latest update. However, this lack of ingame activity is not indicative of my activity regarding the gamemode; I have been working with warz staff to develop strategies to attract players to the server, as it has been experiencing relatively low playercounts recently.
