I'm sure the question in everyone's mind right now is what can Ryguy do as SMOD that he can't do as DEV why was their no news last month? Well, there's the straight answer the the long, official answer. So here's the long, official answer:

If you're not bored enough to read that, we're going bimonthly to not make the news as repetitive and to make our lives easier.

McPvP's Raid Updates
Raid's beta map has been out for two months now and the official release and reset is coming shortly!
Other than that, in August a bunch of changes were posted, like these:

Spoiler: Changes

-XP Bottles have been disabled/removed.
-You can now apply mending to your items again.
-You can no longer breed villagers.
-You can no longer use iron trackers in the nether (if you have an existing tracker in the nether, please DM me on discord (Leon#9397) and I'll get it moved into the overworld).
-Youtuber mode (/yt) now hides your tracker coordinates when you do /track
-Bug fixes, for a full list, join the discord.

Kitbrawl update
Roughly the same time as the Raid update, Kitbrawl received another overhaul, featuring WarZ guns, pasta, map rotations, kit customization, and more! Badlion Client Restricions
Brawl has recently announced that if a player is suspected (that means there's some proof) of using a Ghost Client, they will be restricted. Being restricted means they may only login to Brawl if they are using the Badlion Client. Players who are autobanned 15 times in the period of 1 month will also receive this restriction. Build Update
This October, Build will see, arguably, its biggest update ever! Live features include the toolbox, inventory saving, map rollbacks, new nether and end maps, playmode, and a much more. Learn why you can't get away with griefing here: https://www.brawl.com/threads/76768/

The October update promises 1.16, entity control, a ton of new options, that ginormous new lobby, amongst other fun features!

MeDiC wEbS FaVoRiTiSm
The greatest ongoing challenge in the CTF community is the balance of classes. See, in a perfect world, all of the classes would be completely balanced, so that MMR would not be necessary. In the past update, the use of abilities in spawn was disabled (that's why you see ninja's leaving spawn like everyone else), except for one. This crude ignorance of disabling medic webbing while in spawn has given medics a luxury that no other class has, and it needs to be removed, so we can continue down the progressive path to balance. Salmon Creek
With the CTF map way right around the corner, we'd like to showcase one of the exceptional CTF maps that will be entering the new rotation. This Beaver Creek re-skin features a extraordinary waterfall, heavily detailed fortresses, and beautiful cliffs! Salmon Creek I will be in the next map wave and at /map 368417.

New Event Cycle
The Brawl News would like to introduce a brand-new event cycle, featuring a different event every edition! Some events you can expect to see in the future are caption contests, in-game and forum scavenger hunts, name the map, and best screenshots!

Scavenger Hunt
This month, you must brave the desert heat of the CTF lobby in search of a rare emerald block! But this is no ordinary emerald; this emerald block is stamped with the random signature :V

To win the 2 months Global Elite prize, you must comment with a screenshot of the block, with coordinates in the screenshot (hit f3 before taking it).
