Beta Map Update

Hello Raiders,

I know many of you have been waiting for us to say something, so I would like to break the silence. It is time you knew what was going on behind the scenes.

We were given a very tough choice, and we did what we thought was the best thing to do.

That is, we had a beta map for a very large update. We did testing on this, but it is impossible to beta test every bug on such a small scale testing session, no matter how long.

So, we decided to bring you an open beta map, hoping to find and eliminate any unfound bugs, or unforseen version issues. This did happen, but the huge shift resulted in many extreme issues that were not present upon initial testing. We were able to fix many of the bugs, and that brings us to where we are today.

Well, we had another choice. This one was much more complex, and it was whether or not to have a 1.8 map while we fix 1.16. Our decision was very back and forth, and we ultimately decided that, a 1.8 map would be counterproductive. Either dev time would be removed from the 1.16 changes to address any 1.8 bugs that will inevitably surface, or the 1.8 map will be ignored and the quality will be, well..... subpar.

In the end, this does indeed mean that we have a time period with no quality map. However, during this time, we were really able to pull together all our efforts to completely and thoroughly address all of your 1.16 complaints.

Though you may not agree with our decisions, I can assure you that every single decision was discussed extensively, and we hope that when all is said and done, the gamemode will be changed forever, for the better, for your enjoyment to continue, and be more exciting than ever before.

Thank you for your patience, it has been a long road, but the Destination is near, and I think it will be well worth the wait.


I would like to personally apologize to all of you for the lack of communication from the staff team. It is our responsibility to ensure you know what is going on, and I have failed to uphold this communicative transparency to the level I once promised. I will be trying to be more aware of this, and bring more regular updates for you all, so you are all more 'in the loop'.

In the near future, I will be releasing a thread outlining everything we have done to the live server, along with everything we have been preparing for the next map. I think you will be very excited to see how we have taken some of your feedback to improve our in-game experience for everyone.

Thanks for your commitment to our server, I hope you will all be satisfied with the official update. It will truly be the best update in gamemode history.
