Build January Update
Aside from a quick Build Community Discord plug, *cough* https://discord.gg/YfggJm9 *cough*, the January Update brought several of the long-awaited new features on Test 28 to the 1.8 servers. (Builds 1 and 2).

• /back will send you the map you were last on (also /lastmap)
• /rollback reverts your map to the previous /save (or automatic upload that occurs when no one's on the map)
• /elytra (only on the test server)

Gui Changes

• Modern glass pane borders (that someone complained about in staff chat)
• Recently Visited Maps Gui (see all of the maps you spent like 5 seconds on)
• Redesigned map options layout (good luck changing the map's time now)
• New Options: chest locking, projectiles, block update prevention, and visitor interaction prevention
• New Custom Terrains (thanks @xxMineSheepxx)

New Entity Controls

• Entity Manager Gui (tp to any entity or remove it)
• Toggle Mob Spawning (read the next line)
• Animals and Mobs (yeah, you don't need an admin to spawn in animals and mobs anymore!)

Now accepting Warz build submissions!
Speaking of building things... Ever wonder why so many of WarZ's players have been on Build recently? Well... I really have no clue, but WarZ is accepting build submissions! Yep, that's right, for the low price of

Spoiler: however long it takes to make any of these themes that we are looking for,

• Nether, hellish environments.
• Military builds themed for snow environments.
• Wild-west type builds.
• Desert builds. (notably red sand desert)
• City/towns, nothing insanely massive.
• Industrial/factory themed builds.
• Random detailed structures. (Planes in the air, boats, crates, debris, broken or misc. structures that can be added anywhere)

Hello, Raiders,
Raid is out of Beta! After slightly discussing this in the previous news (https://www.brawl.com/threads/77126/) (yes, I just plugged a Brawl News, deal with it), we are pleased to bring you the full details of MCPVP Raid Map #1! Now we know the thread's out, but we here at The Brawl News wanted to bring you the most important updates from the reset thread: https://www.brawl.com/threads/77193/.

Spoiler: New features you already know about because you totally read the thread!

• You can now run/build on top of the nether. (most important feature on this list)
• The "shop-glitch" and 1.7 enchanting have been reintroduced. (also pretty important)
• Ancient debris now drops a Netherrite ingot instead of an ancient debris block.
• Netherrite crafting recipe has been changed, you now need the diamond equivalent in order to create a Netherrite piece - you still need a smithing table.
• Notch-apples will function like they did in 1.8, and are now also craftable in the same way.
• There's a new AFK-reward system - every hour you get a crate reward key, you need 12 crate keys to open a crate.
• Shields and Kits were removed.
• Gold, Phantom, Elytra, and Shulker spawning was removed.
• The End Event has been removed, you can now build in the End instead. The End is now open for exploration.
• Team points are now obtainable through events and daily challenges!
• The KOTH will be in a new world, in order to enter the KOTH, you need to go through a portal at spawn.
• There will no longer be any restrictions at KOTHs.
• KOTH will now be using a points system, which will be displayed as a boss bar (instead of a scoreboard)
• There will be two daily feasts, which spawn at random coordinates on the map.
• There will be three new crates:
  • Playtime crate
  • Team challenges crate
  • KOTH/Weekly crate

(tl;dr: Raid has new features!)
