    Fights last longer due when netherite is used and souping becomes a little easier since you can tank some more damage, so 1.16 is actually an easier version to get into PvP on for players newer to soup. There is a little less reach than 1.8 and the knockback is a little bit different, but there’s not a whole lot that is actually changed overall. Respawn anchors were a huge impact but they are now in fact disabled.

    Chorus fruit is now used for getting out of web ganks as well as for kiting, and totems are heavily leaned on a lot now too. A new favorite for some is potion effect arrows to slap somebody with slowness to prevent kiting as well.

    Respawn anchors kinda beat it out pretty quickly
    Was more just general statements about what it’s like right now, wasn’t meant to be good or bad. Just different.
