What is your experience and knowledge of Brawl? - I started on the server in 2018 when a player informed me about Brawl after meeting on another server. I decided to check it out, and instantly became addicted to CTF. After getting acquainted with the server, I joined a competitive CTF team named The Roxerces where I began to learn about the competitive scene of CTF and getting to know more experienced players within the community. However, I wasn’t too active while on the team, so I decided to leave. Throughout this time, I played PPMs occasionally and began to understand how PPMs worked. On May 29th, 2020, I rejoined The Roxerces and that is when I started to take competitive CTF seriously. Months later on September 10th, 2020, I joined Delta Force to grow as a player and to explore the other atmospheres CTF teams had. I became a more prominent figure in the competitive scene whilst on this team and it is the team I have been the most active on to this date. Soon after, I gained the interest of hosting PPMs. I contacted a friend that was a host at the time and they guided me through the process and so I began to host (9/21/2020). I continued hosting PPMs until my ban in October. I started hosting again in April of 2021 and have been hosting very frequently since then. On May 22nd, I was given the role of PPM Host in the CTF Community Discord. Later on, I decided to apply for Media rank because I had been uploading CTF content for around a year now. On July 8th, I was accepted and joined the Media team because I wanted to improve my editing abilities and help Brawl put out more and better content.

What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? - None worth noting.

Why do you want to become a moderator on Brawl? - I want to become a moderator on Brawl because I believe I can be a solid addition to the team. My activity can make the experience for players much better due to my ability to be diligent and swift with my replies and actions to their needs. My schedule is very flexible and I can attend a multitude of events when needed. Brawl has been lacking active moderators recently and I think I could help fill that void. Another reason why I wish to be JMod is the expansion of power I will have; I’ll be able to help others more extensively. Especially with PPM hosts, I can help out with setting up match servers and stuff like that. Furthermore, I can be more proactive and have an improved way of dealing with rule breakers that make the experience less enjoyable for those trying to play correctly. I’d also be able to give my input on ideas, changes, and improvements for the server in a more direct way. I recently spent an abundant amount of time on a document that I submitted to staff to improve the current voting system by suggesting ideas to make it more appealing, rewarding, and diverse. I did this because I genuinely care about the functionality of the voting system and making the server more appealing as well as voting itself.

Have you ever used a hacked client before? - Yes, I've used Huzuni & Wurst on Mineplex, Impact on 2b2t - a server with no rules, and experimented with some auto-clickers on single player and private servers.

Have you ever been punished (banned, kicked, muted, etc) legitimately on a public Minecraft server? If so, why? - I was banned on Mineplex in 2015 for using Huzuni and Wurst for one day. I was kicked for 7 days on Brawl for threats in November of 2019 (a joke in poor taste). I was banned on October 4th, 2020, for “Illegal Modification: Autoclicker” on Brawl. However, I appealed this ban and was unbanned on October 8th, 2020; no further punishments since then.

What do you consider your greatest strength? - My greatest strengths at the moment are most likely my availability and dependability. I believe availability is crucial for a staff member, especially with how the CTF community works. Players and PPM hosts are always in need of staff members to respond quickly for things ranging from setting match servers for competitive to taking care of a rule breaker. Secondly, I’m a very dependable person which is very helpful when it comes to being a staff member, players need someone they can go to for help and not feel ignored.

What do you consider your greatest weakness? - In my last application I said acting on impulse negatively was my greatest weakness. I believe I’ve changed and have noticed improvement in myself, although I still have progress to make, I’m going in the right direction. I still think this is my greatest weakness. Another weakness I possess is my lack of participation in discussions and voicing my opinion to try and improve the server. Recently I’ve been trying to get more involved by giving suggestions and discussing suggestions others have posted in the CTF Discord.
