    If you do not meet the requirements (active, helpful, must have Discord, etc) do not apply yet; it will be an auto deny.

    What is your in-game name? - Warrey
    Is your Minecraft account secured and migrated? - Yes, my Minecraft account is secured and migrated.

    How old are you? - 18
    What time zone are you in? - My country observes Central European Time (CET) as standard time. When Daylight Saving Time (DST) is in force, the clocks run on Central European Summer Time (CEST).

    Are you multilingual? Can you speak multiple languages? -
    As a student who is currently on CAE Advanced level (will do tests in February) English shouldn’t be a problem. I also have most of my classes in English however I definitely have flaws here and there. After all it is my second language after my mother tongue, so I use it a lot and especially on the internet.

    Although Swedish is my first language I get around fairy well with Norwegian and Danish as I have realized how similar the languages are. If it’s spoken slowly I have not had any major issues with either of them. I have always had interest in languages as I find the possibility to communicate and create a common understanding of each other fascinating. However I would still call myself bilingual as I may be good at understanding Norwegian and Danish, when it comes to speaking both of these languages understand Swedish fully as it’s naturally a slower language. Words also sound more like the written form in all three languages, so if it ever comes down to helping out a fellow Scandinavian I’ll be there if they have issues with English, which is rarely the case but you never know.

    Going back to interest in languages, German and French are two languages I would love to improve on, I have studied French for two years but I am still unable to hold a conversation. German on the other hand I use repeatedly, especially on Brawl where there are mostly teenagers. I am able to somewhat hold a conversation, a simple one at the very least. I remember that German previously gave me advantage when it came down to moderating as it is fairly easy to catch discrimination.

    What is your experience and knowledge of Brawl? - To try and not make this too complicated next year will mark 9 years of playing Brawl, that is almost a decade. I think it's just crazy to think the amount of time spent on this game and the amount of people I have met.

    After joining Brawl in 2013 on my first account "emlego" I played a variety of game-modes including MineStrike, War, WarZ and Party where I began gathering knowledge from all sorts of game-modes until being stuck on MC-War for a good amount of time. I had always jumped between War and WarZ for a while but in 2014 however, I began playing MC-WarZ regularly and that's also where I settled for the rest of my years on Brawl. However in the last three years or so I have been grinding a variety of game-modes on Brawl, especially Party. However as WarZ was difficult to learn, which I found interesting and especially alongside many others who started at that time and play to this day WarZ is not like any other game. Probably because of the way it flows which I have always found joy in and the need to engage myself. However if we were to compare my knowledge to others I am probably the only WarZ player who has not taken any major breaks like most WarZ players has. Therefore by always staying updated on Brawl and its members I would say I have a good amount of knowledge.

    Another thing to point out is that I have also had a lot of dialogues with various players and staff which I believe gives me an overall view on what we could together improve and what other players believe work and not. By talking to others in this way I have not created my own experience but rather taken into consideration others thoughts as well. We all come from different experiences which I think is astonishing and could be a key factor in making everyone satisfied which I as a staff used to aim for in order to make balanced decisions. I have learned that knowledge also comes from openness and helpfulness as people will be more open to you and share their thoughts and ideas if you are open to them and just generally respect one another. By creating these bonds with the community I have also built up a trust which I am greatly honored by, which could explain my current involved in the new WarZ map.

    Anyone could of written the things above so feel free to search up my name on the WarZ discord in #ideas-discussion, there are plenty of ideas there which requires knowledge. Because in order to find a solution to something you need to know where the problem lies which is only possible if you have been around for a while. Another way to perhaps prove my participation would perhaps be a post that I made in 2019 on who the best warz players are. I have made several other monthly best players list, mostly for fun but I guess it in some ways shows my knowledge as it wouldn't be possible if I took major breaks, which I haven't.

    What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? - If you would like to know my moderating history which I believe is pretty unnecessary because of the fact that I have been Moderator on Brawl twice. My English is also not at its best since I wrote it two years ago I believe. I will still put it here.
    Yes and there are three servers worth mentioning.

    StarZ - This practice server was quite popular back then with special and unique guns and sometimes reached 30 people if a lucky day. However there were probably ten candidates who had a better reputation and maturity back in 2015 who actually played the server but the MOD rank was given to me because of my friendship with the Owner and staff which were also Swedish. However I learned discipline and maturity here which helped me much easier getting staff, moving onto my next position;

    DeadCentral - As @Atum explained in his Staff Application this server was a somewhat photocopy after hackers dominating WarZ on Brawl in early 2019 without any active staff. I had a huge interest in following and helping the unique community out somewhere else even though I was incredulous about the new one coming. But most active players at that time had no choice from my view if they wanted to play. I viewed DeadCentral as a server where I could freshly start from zero since I had a couple mutes in late 2018 on Brawl. I during this time got along well with others and answered questions because I had been in contact with a lot of the higher-ups regarding bringing everyone back and in that subject showed talent because of my knowledge from Brawl.

    I was then told to make an application by a group of people who thought I could be helpful and gather everyone once again. Becoming staff was taking responsibility which I had never done before at that serious level because I had to follow some duty ethics with a much larger and growing player-base than ever before. If my friend would cheat back then I would not care but now when I had such an important role people believed in me and the owner and admins had given me an important mission. I had to ban everyone who did not follow the rules which was important to keep the player base happy and the game functioning. I learned all the commands and was given SMOD the last week before everything collapsed because of lost console access and the person logging into staff accounts which stole way too much time, which was the case in October 2019 on Brawl. After that the Community moved back to Brawl where I currently am and want to help here (end of 2019).

    As I have over one year of moderating experience on Brawl I feel that I know how everything works at this point. I am also currently involved in projects to help improve Brawl. One of them is the new WarZ map, which I love working on where I am currently working with staff members. One way to prove my experience would be to ask new staff members, who asked asked me for advice as they know that I have been around for quite a long time. To specify it's mostly about commands, which I still remember fairly well. In that way I have figured out that I still remember a good amount of commands, which I remember the purpose of.

    Why do you want to become a moderator on Brawl? - If I am going to be completely honest I believe it becomes boring to just play. There has not been a single server that I have played for a longer amount of time that I have not been engaged or shown excitement or interest in administration. Somebody has to make sure that whatever server it is, continues. Because if nobody helps out or contributes to the server’s cause there won’t be a server. I want to use my contribution in order to make sure that Brawl keeps itself on the right track. As I have worked with this before, I have always tried to find ways to keep the WarZ community interested. After all this time I have seen the things that have worked. As WarZ is moving towards a new approach with its new map that might not be that relevant now with player retention and such. However at the very least I know how to keep the current player.base and active.

    When I left I have still been engaged in plans for WarZ. I should also note that I was asked to apply, which makes my heart warm as that means that people believe in me as I believe in them. Another important factor is that the Staff Team is without question stupendous and the environment is just amazing and filled with joy. This is a pivotal factor as it really motivates me to join. I am also excited to contribute to this environment as it is important for me that the Staff Team stays together.

    I have been trying my best to make fair and balanced decisions, especially when it comes to the structure, planning and how to retain players. There are other areas I might need to improve on but with that knowledge I believe that I can find ways to maintain the current player-base. I have done this before with my tutorials as an example.

    Here are some of my contributions;

    https://www.brawl.com/threads/77365/#post-973453
    I really like to keep a friendly environment, therefore I tend to chatreport people since whenever someone discriminates a fellow player, they tend to fight back. I do my best to chatreport this which I believe could be done quicker if I were to become staff. I came first in both January and February with the most valid chat-reports. Which I guess somewhat shows my will to keep it cool.

    Here is one of two other tutorials on the Brawl YT Channel.

    Then there's also my effort into the new WarZ Map, which I wont show as it is it is not my task regarding what to reveal and not. If you are staff and would like to see a bit of my progress it's Map ID #461865 and the warp "Factory".

    I see so many reasons to keep WarZ going and I want to make sure that having WarZ alive becomes a reality. It is possible to do that without being fully in the Staff Team, however it will help a lot along the way and will help me to continue contributing on another level as I believe WarZ is worth saving.

    Have you ever used a hacked client before? - Yes, sadly. Not something that I am proud of. However I tried it out because of curiosity. If you just search on "Minecraft" on YouTube all the hacks will pop up. I was always that one guy who never had texture packs or thousands of clients downloaded unlike everyone else. I was concentrating on playing the game and tried out my first hacked client back in 2016 after finding one for pvp. I never really understood, nor did I know what I was doing.

    I personally believe that I was terrible at hacking. I would get caught immediately for the dumbest thing. I have mostly tried out hacking on other servers than Brawl. However I never saw a career in hacking nor was it fun. You have no goals to achieve by hacking and I play games for a challenge. Even though it was still a challenge when I tried clients it wasn't that fun either.

    Have you ever been punished (banned, kicked, muted, etc) legitimately on a public Minecraft server? If so, why? - My first ban was block glitching in 2013 on MC-War which I remember clearly. It is hard for me to claim everything I've done throughout the years and on every account because I share a lot of my accounts to friends.

    That is the case with Warrey, which I shared to my friends months ago which therefore has a couple warnings. It is possible to check that it was not me however as it is my account I take full responsibility on whatever happens to it. I do no longer share accounts with other players as I have clearly seen the results.
    Other than that I have a Death Wish in 2018 which was incredibly childish from 14 year old me and something that I highly regret doing. However I have been improving since and understood the weight in being polite.

    What do you consider your greatest strength? - Probably that I am open minded, something that I have gotten better at recently. To be able to see the different ways of how things could work out. Being open minded also requires being a good listener which is mandatory for making the best out of something. As everyone's opinion matters.
    What do you consider your greatest weakness? - I could be tremendously passionate about things and then forget things in the process. In that way I could be really sure about things which then totally aren't. This is something I have gotten better at recently as well but there are always ways to improve.
    Which Brawl server(s) are you most active on? - WarZ and Party.

    How many Brawl staff applications have you made in the past? - I have made five Brawl Staff Applications in the past.
    What is the date of the last application you submitted? - Feb 26, 2021.
    Do you have Discord? - Yes, Warrey#9081

    Anything else you would like to state? - Yes, I see importance in improving so therefore I will also share one mistake that I did in my last run as staff and how my viewpoint on the bigger picture of the issue has changed.

    One issue that I had was evaluating what was right and wrong. While I tried thinking independently I probably lacked in some common sense. One example would be a teleport command, which is a command that gets you to the player immediately, instead of the regular /tpa command on WarZ. Even though this is a staff command and should only be used when moderating I still used it outside of that which I highly regret.

    Other staff members who I worked alongside with but who later left the Staff Team said that it was fine to a certain extent. It really wasn't fine to a certain extent at all however as I did it a lot it became an advantage over other players. I was trying my best to think independently here and the ponder went like this;
    "Okay Warrey, you are teleporting faster but it does not give you any advantage as it is the same thing but you just get to a place faster, nobody is on anyways so it doesn't matter. Everyone else does it too"
    However now that I have worked on being open minded and therefore looked at it in new ways it is unacceptable, as this in the long run gives me a great advantage even though nobody is online. This is one thing that usually goes unnoticed but which I see great importance of as it is simply not okay. A staff should know the difference between playing the game and moderating which I can admit that I was terrible at, which is quite clear to see. However today I feel confident in distinguishing playing and moderating as nothing that happens in-game should be to your benefit as a staff, nothing. If you think that, then you do not belong at Brawl, seriously. Sorry I am just irritated at myself.

    I also shouldn't blame this mistake on others, as I was thinking that "everyone else does it too". I own my mistake however one thing to keep in mind at pretty much any workplace is that only because everyone else is doing something, that does not mean that it's the right thing to do. However especially when staff with a higher role do things it really gets you to start thinking. Again, I am not blaming others, only myself. However some things that was normalized in the past is now thrown in the waste bin. At least by me, like this thing I have just discussed. Thinking independently is the move, to trust your own judgement while at the same time keeping in mind the difference between moderating and playing.

    Everyone is not perfect however we can at the very least aim to become perhaps not perfect but perhaps ideal would be a better word. To be an example to others online. I truly believe that I have changed ever since I left in August 2021, or I at least hope so. My new perspective on just this particular issue does not say that much really. However I hope I'm on the right track at the very least. You cannot ignore someone's past completely however with my new contributions I have already set goals but being given staff would help me immensely along the way. As I wish to help the current staff team in their interesting state and also bring Brawl and especially WarZ towards the right direction.

    Let me know, ask questions. Whatever comes to mind as everything could help me improve. Your response matters, I would be very happy to know what I can amend!

    Thank you for your time,
    - Warrey

    You're a very friendly person from the few interactions we've had, and this application is impressively thorough. I think consistency is the only real factor against you here, as it looks like you're accepted and denied on and off. I'm hardly familiar with WarZ, but judging by the immediate recognition in the above comments, people are clearly on board with you. The standing public contributions prove that you've been quite effective in the past, so +1 and best of luck.

    You will Phoenix!!!
    Thank you so much for the kind words. Yeah I get what you mean by consistency and I believe that’s something you can develop. So I will definitely try to find a method that works towards consistency. That is also why I plan on staying for a while if I happen to get accepted. Again I really appreciate your feedback you’re the best!!
