What is your in-game name? - solrarity
Is your Minecraft account secured and migrated? - yes

How old are you? - 21
What time zone are you in? - AEST
Are you multilingual? Can you speak multiple languages? - English

What is your experience and knowledge of Brawl? - I've been playing Raid for 7/8 months, currently still very active within the community, as well as discord. Since my first application, my knowledge of the server has definitely further increased.

What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? - I would say since my last application, my experience with moderating servers is quite little, even with past history of being a mod on a server, it was quite a long time ago, but I'm certainly willing to learn more.

Why do you want to become a moderator on Brawl? - I’ve been wanting to be part of the raid staff pretty much from when I first joined brawl. I love the community and I’m truly wanting to see this server thrive. I want to contribute my time as much I can to help out the few raid staff we have.

Have you ever used a hacked client before? - I have actually used the xray texture pack, had a play, (in single player) I believe I can tell from certain behaviours when someone could be potentially using X-ray, I personally havent used any other hack client, I have explained pvp hacks below and my knowledge in regards to that.

Have you ever been punished (banned, kicked, muted, etc) legitimately on a public Minecraft server? If so, why? - Recently, I was warned for homophobic behaviour, unfortunately this was true, I said a bad word and someone got offended. I haven’t continued that behaviour for a month and I believe with the 7/8 months I’ve been playing brawl my overall warnings and muted aren’t that much. We all have our off days and disagreements as members. As a jmod I understand the need to be professional, calm and collected. I love a bit of banter, I feel like most of you know that by now but I won’t be continuing that as much anymore as I do want to be part of the staff team eventually.


What do you consider your greatest strength? - I’d consider myself a helpful and approachable person when needed. I can be non biased, reasonable person and in conflict I can diffuse situations quickly.

What do you consider your greatest weakness? -
My greatest weakness isn’t ideal.
My ability to tell who’s hacking during pvp.
I don’t feel I am as of yet knowledgeable in that area overall to be completely honest.
I feel I can tell who’s X-raying easily but not quite with pvp hacks as it’s a different ballgame. I feel I would need an extra opinion on that even if I was to learn exactly what to look for. Pvp isn’t something I am particularly good at for multiple reasons.
So the question is why would I want to be jmod if pvp is a strong component of raid and I can’t even tell who hacks during pvp?
Because I feel apart from being a big dummy with pvp hacks, I have other great qualities that can contribute to me being a great staff member.

I wouldn’t say my discipline history is that horrible at all especially for a raid member.
I’m not sure if you have been active lately in raid discord or brawl overall but I promise you I’m usually pretty good. My last warning was over something personal, and I feel as if my emotions were valid. I don’t have a history of losing my temper at all, it was truly just a one time thing. Which I hope you can understand. Anyone who knows me knows my humour, I personally don’t know you that well so you probably assume I’m some toxic individual which is understandable.

I appreciate your opinion though.

although I appreciate the feedback, I find saying I haven’t been able to control my temper unfair considering it was one time. I don’t believe I have many warnings at all. I don’t think my warning from a month ago should be used against me when I contribute a lot which should outweigh that one negative.

but I respect your opinion.

The slur was definitely unnecessary, I knew it wasn’t a good thing to say at the time and it’s unlike me, to say such a word.

What’s stopping me from continuing that behaviour is that it’s truly not me. I’m not someone to just be throwing around slurs like that in every conflict and at all really, especially publicly. It was definitely a once off situation, that I am not really proud of, so that would really be the answer to your question.

I don’t want to be known as someone who slurs such things, because I am quite very opposite and truly so supportive of all sexual orientations.

I understand the consequences of my actions if I was to continue such behaviour.
