  Don't listen to the asshole below, take it from someone who has actual college experience. People are in such desperate need for developers that they don't care if you don't know, they just care if you are willing to learn. Google is your friend, as are the Java docs.

    Coding is actually a rarer talent than some people think. To actually understand code, you have to think about what is and isn't possible. A lot of people can't do that. I think that a community member picking up a coding hobby for the sake of the network is amazing. Keep at it Alg.

  Ok, coming from someone who can code, you are no where near being a developer. Maybe you should not learn java through MC and maybe then you'll get developer. Everyone can do the simple plugins that you do, but not a lot of people can do, let's say, reflection in java, and that's an important skill. TLDR: learn java properly or you wont get dev
