My base got raided with xray...

• All the forum members playing pvp survival are for sure not hacking
• We want to get rid of those hackers as anybody else
• Stop throwing insults in the air about the servers being responsible
• Seems stupid to quit because you got raided ( got raided 7 times so ? ) just build a new base or hide your chests far far far away from your actual base

 

I dont think x-rayers go on forums, they only play and hack.(althought you dont have 100% proof)

There isn't a way to know if him/her had xray; plus you don't know who did it.
As Tea said, we've been raided 7 times! Don't just give up!

 

This. Put your chests in different places around the world so if one gets raided you still have other chests.

 

Relief is coming soon. I am quoting directly from Minecraft wiki's upcoming features for the 1.8 Minecraft update:

• Rendering
  • Only transparent blocks will now render as transparent (eliminates the use of x-ray texture packs)

I know this won't stop people from using x-ray hacks, but it will stop the casual cheater with an easy to make x-ray texture pack.

 

I hide my chests in different places no where near my base

 

My team has several cache deposits for hiding our loot. Recently one of our mining posts was found and so we moved. But we've faced x-raying hacks before. Dug straight down from the surface, but I digress. The server isn't at fault for people hacking, in fact almost everyone is pretty cool about not using hacks because it's an easy way out. If you track and actually look for loot then you're a quality player in my book.
