Idea GOLD STAGE? MAP RESET?

Depends how long it takes to polish off the server. If it takes only a month we shouldn't because the map is still pretty new. But if it takes a few months, maybe we could. Mostly depends on when we get out of beta.

 

The area in 512 blocks around is being reset evrytime the server restarts, so "noobs" still have a chance.
Also it would cause TONS of rage if they reset the map.

 

Nope, I don't. I imagine it will be soon though because we need them to run the servers.

 

I wouldnt play if map resett. All you did, find, mine, create is gone.

 

if they make a new map everyone should keep his gold and whats about a server proxy? (2.pvp .mcbrawl.com ) with a new map so players who want can start a new life and have a new chance to kill the ender dragon also it would reduce the lag cause less players would be on each server.

 

If the map will be reset in a few months then sure but not now.

To people who think this is a bad idea, it's not half bad, but it does have it's pros and cons. It gives everyone a fresh start and gives noobs a better chance to survive, but it does make people mad. What I'm proposing is allow players to access an enderchest where they can store their most valuable items. If the map does get reset, than you can keep whatever you store in an enderchest, but the stuff not stored will be gone.

I said they should give players access to it once the gold stage comes out.

 

We are in Alpha, I think.

My idea: Reset the whole map, but let the players keep their inventory and tp evryone to spawn. Make a lot of alerts before the map is reset, so evryone knows what to do. So you get a totally new map with many ressources, buildings and stuff, but you don't loose evrything.
