    personally i think it would be cool and effective to have a market of some kind where player would not take damage for other player and free to trade with players and maybe villagers. This may make it a little bit easier to find food, weapons and anything else a player may need. If you do the villagers they may want to incorporate emeralds as spawn items, or the villagers could give the player quests like the idea xXBearPvP gave. Finally this would add just a little bit more to do then just killing and looting

    So, a kind of PVE area, where there is no PVP.
    Where would you suggest this / these would be in the WarZ map?
    And would you say there would be just 1, or could there be various throughout the WarZ map?

    The thing is, that's the point of WarZ , it's based on DayZ, loot, kill, survive.
    If you made a shop it'll remove the survival feature of the game as it's a pay-to-win sort if thing... if you want to trade with players you have to take risks. Make friends and trade and if you're not careful, you could be betrayed.
    It's to make the server more intense, lively and generally more fun to play.

    Yes this would be a PvE only zone, I would suggest that there is only 1 of these and be somewhere by the western airfield, in my experience I usually go thought the desert and past the eastern airfield, this would draw players to west part of the map.
    Also yes it is a survival game where it is kill or killed, but in the real games there is trading posts, and personally if I found someone who wanted something, they would try to kill me instead of asking for it to trade, this could also reduce some of the killing of people who are new to the game and trying to survive

    Won't people try to camp? Then again people camp everywhere.

    yes, they will try to camp, but then again that is the risk you'll have to take to get something like a weapon or food

    Perhaps, there could also be a feature as when a player is tagged in combat (/ct) they cannot enter the market place.

    As I said before these are good ideas.

    But still I find them a little bit weird. Mc-WarZ is based on DayZ. This would take the whole feeling out of it I would think. If this were to be added I'd bet there would be players camping outsides of the markets and killing players that come by to come to the market place. But anyways it is still a pretty cool idea.     I think it would take the survival factor out of WarZ... You could just buy everything.

    In DayZ they have marketplace thingies do they not? I know they do not in standalone.

    well not everything and you would still have to find currency, and if you trade with other play players i am sure they would be reluctant to give up armor or weapons. also, in some versions of dayz they do have a market type area, ya i also watch frankie, i was going to post this a bit ago but i forgot to hit post so this will answer an older question
