So, before I post my idea let me give a little back of backdrop. Whenever me and my friend @THEBORINGGAME10, kill someone in a Zone 2 place in WarZ, the player normally has some good stuff i.e. food, ammo, guns and a lot of useless stuff such as wooden swords, leather armor, flint and steel and more. So we try and pick up all the good stuff without picking up the bad stuff. So, now for the idea:

Everyone is put on a big square and each person has a 7x7x7 square to themselves with a whole in the middle of the top. The 7x7x7 is surrounded by glass, apart from the hole in the top.

The game begins and a pile of loot falls through the hole. You try and pick up the good stuff to earn points and try not to pick up the bad stuff that will lose you points. After 10 seconds, more loot will fall. Then again, after another 10 seconds. Each time, the loot pile will be slightly different and the good stuff and bad stuff will be in different places. The loot cannot be picked up for the first two seconds, otherwise if you are in the middle and the loot falls on you, you will pick up everything, the good and the bad. After 6 of these rounds, the game ends, and the person who has the highest number of points wins.

Here are a couple of ideas for what could be 'good stuff' and 'bad stuff'.

    Diamonds- 3 Points Each
    Emeralds- 2 Points Each
    Iron- 1 Point Each
    Gold- Lose 1 Point
    Coal- Lose 2 Points
    Cobblestone- Lose 3 Points

I like this idea, but I see one problem.

When several items that are the same itemstack are dropped nearby each other, the items are basically stacked "together" as a drop. This basically just makes it so players can easily pick up items rather than them having to actually run around and grab them.

I believe that if it is the same item, but has a different name, I don't think they stack. Maybe have each of the items have different colored names or something? Then they would all be rainbow, which would probably be better for the theme of MinecraftParty anyway xD

I like this idea Skul, and I think I would enjoy playing it.

I believe it just checks if it is the same Item, not the ItemMeta. :stuck_out_tongue:

Maybe. I did try and test it in creative by renaming one of the same item and dropping them next to each other. They didn't stack.

Did you try this in single player or multiplayer?

I like the idea, but it's hard to fight with @Mario's logic. The items will stack, making it easier to collect a lot of good loot, or a lot of bad loot. If there is a way around this, then I'm all for it. Nice original idea.

Maybe a way to "scoop" it up? Maybe like a stick where you can right click the ground and claim it?

But otherwise, really cool and unique idea.
