    Want to integrate your resource pack with the MC-War Client?
    Here are the folders you can modify:

    [/assets/minecraft/textures/war/zoom/]: This directory contains all the scopes. Included are the files:
    sniper1.png, sniper2.png, sniper3.png, etc.
    shotgun1.png, shotgun2.png, shotgun3.png, etc.
    pistol1.png, pistol2.png, pistol3.png, etc.
    assault1.png, assault2.png, assault3.png, etc.
    raygun.png, minigun.png, flame.png, law.png
    All files above must be 455x256, and the centre of the scope must be directly in the center of the image.
    Higher resolutions are possible, but not recommended.

    [/assets/minecraft/textures/war/hip/]: This directory contains all the hip textures. It is structured exactly the same as the above directory.

    [/assets/minecraft/textures/war/]: This directory contains some core files. Likely to be changed in the future.
    overlay.png: The war overlay at the top-right of the screen. 256x128 resolution.
    overlayLeft.png: The war overlay at the top-left of the screen. 256x128 resolution.

    [/assets/minecraft/sounds/war/]: All sounds within the mod. May change in the future.
    nuke.ogg: The alarm sound that plays when a nuke is launched. BROKEN AS OF THE LATEST BUILD!

    That's all for now! Await future updates!

    EDIT: Still confused? Look at Brawler’s graphical instructions below!

    Lels. It's actually pretty simple if you just read it through.

    Tutorial filled with pictures coming really soon. It will probably help you guys who are confused...

    RESOURCE PACK TUTORIAL FOR DUMMIES AGAIN
    Are you still confused? Are you hopeless at reading text and converting it into action? Are you just plain confused at what Phanta is saying? Then read this!
    With images! :V

    Of course, you need to download the mod.
    After installation, you should have the folder MC-War inside of your versions folder. Open it.
    Inside, you will see a few files, including this.
    [IMG]
    Right click the file, and open it with an archiver like 7Zip or WinRAR.
    [IMG]
    Now, you should find all of these files.
    [IMG]
    There's a lot more. However, all you need to do is open the assets folder.
    For you resource pack makers, you should recognize this, for this is exactly how a resource pack is laid out. Open the minecraft folder.
    [IMG]
    Yes, the shaders folder. You can use this and create custom shaders. Maybe another time. Open the textures folder, which I have clicked on in the screenshot.
    [IMG]
    These are all the folders you will find in a resource pack, with one exception - the 'war' folder. That's for the client side mod.

    Now, open another folder to a resource pack directory. This is assuming you are a resource pack maker, or you have one unzipped. If you don't...
    Drag the zipped resource pack into an empty folder. Really, it could be any folder, but it's a lot easier and neater to navigate if you use an empty folder.
    [IMG]
    No, I won't release this anytime soon. I am still working on it. As you can see, this is my BF2 expansion pack for MC-War.
    Right click on the file. This is assuming you have an archiving program like WinRAR or 7Zip.
    Simply click on Extract Here.
    [IMG]
    Depending on the file's size, it may take a while.
    Just like in the mod, you will find an assets folder.
    [IMG]
    Open it.
    Go ahead and open the minecraft folder inside it, then head to the textures folder.
    You should see folders like this in there.
    [IMG]
    Now head back to the opened mod. Inside of it is the war folder. Simply drag that folder out and into your textures folder.
    [IMG]
    That's all. Now, open the 'war' folder and edit textures as pleased. Remember to center them, or have them near perfectly centered. I have not found a quick way to do this, I use trial-and-error. If anyone has a quick way, please tell me.

    I use a editor called GraphicsGale.
    It tells you the coordinates of the pixel your cursor is on.
    Just move the image by dragging the crosshair until the indicator says "(227, 128)".

    I guess that would work with GIMP, too, if you use the markers on the top and sides.

    I would like to have my resource pack added, but thats a whole lot.

    I can try, but I think I will stick to the original.

    In fact , I don't really understand '
    Now, open another folder to a resource pack directory. This is assuming you are a resource pack maker, or you have one unzipped. If you don't...
    Drag the zipped resource pack into an empty folder. Really, it could be any folder, but it's a lot easier and neater to navigate if you use an empty folder.' this part , is that mean to open an empty folder in the resourcepack file in .minecraft?
    and should we use forge to run this? OR just using optifine

    The resource pack directory is under \%appdata%\.minecraft\resourcepacks.
    You'll want to create a new folder for the empty folder.
    Neither. Forge and optifine are both incompatible.

    What happens if you use a higher resolution? Does it crash? Or lag.

    It will work fine on decent computers, just try not to make it too large. 2 times the default resolution is fine.

    Tier-by-Tier;
    For example:
    Sniper1 = L118a
    Sniper2 = Dragunov
    Sniper3 = Barret 50cal
    etc.
